I saw an ebay item telling me that you can get an 11 kw improvement by fitting an FG V8 airbox and snorkle to the FG XR6T.. Cost wise ford charge $350 for both. This is for the V8 High performance engine with the larger air intake.. My question is this will it or won't it ??

The standard FGxr6t has 270kw, the F6 typhoon has 315 kw standard. What is the difference between the two engines?? Is it hardware or software or both..
