A mate sort of went through the same thing, he wasn't really happy with the power he got after a tune. He hadn't done valve springs though, so it made even less power. I suggest you do an apples to apples comparison. Load the stock tune (assuming you have a flash box), drive how you used to, change back. That's the only true way to see just how much of an improvement has been made. Be warned, with an X3, it will take a while to change tunes. Needless to say my mate did just that, reloaded his 10psi tune, and hasn't changed back yet.

Even though your peak figure was lower than your mates SS's (GS might not stay on boost long enough to make the power), the torque figure would have been a lot higher a lot sooner, eating the SS off the line. Plus 3 psi, that's not a lot at all.

Yeah I figured Ford would have to play around with it. I know that FG2 is getting the screen, I just wanted to be the first. Plus I should be able to sell my premium screen for a lot more now. I was also asking on here because someone might have an SZ we can have a look at. Oh well, I'll just have to wait. Thanks guys.

Just curious if anyone knows what the difference between the FG Premium screen and the SZ Territory touch screen is (plugs, BEM ...etc). I am wondering because I reckon touch screens are cool. Would it be plug and play? Anyone with an SZ and willing to take pics of it out or something? Any help would be awesome, Thanks.

I'd also like to go larger (width). I actually wrote into to Motor expressing my interest in the Prodrive Modified Blade Control arm. They asked for my name and area so they can publish. I highly recommend writing them, the more interest, the more likely they are going to produce them at a reasonable price. How much are DBAs for FG Turbos? I haven't bought a set in a while. I'd be down for the Cat and dump pipe to suit FG. 600 for both is a pretty good price.

I've had my Dec 09 since new, 82000 kms atm. . Lots of interstate driving though. Is it auto or manual your looking at? Get an FG if its manual. Shifts and everything are just better. Autos aren't as different. I've said that to mates as well. Kms are not the be all and end all of a car. Generally a good gauge. Drive it, see how it feels.
