Nah didnt even make it up as car is still on a low tune because of new motor and has a broken bolt in the rear diff mount

Hope to run my car at tassie nats just gotta find someone to drive it up as lost my Licence (like my xr6 and twisty road to much)

So anoyed I couldnt make it but after finishin work at 7am. this morning I just wanted tp sleep and 5 to 6 hrs drivn I woulnt have handled. So very sorry I didnt make it. Hope there is another cruise woth more ppl in future. Think I seen her xr6 in laurdale at about 230 when I was headin bk down to penisular may have been another blue xr6 turbo though.

I probly wouldnt choose the peninsular as there wil be heaps of tourist about and they love to drive at 70kmh

Who do u know on penisular? Ive been livn at eagle halk neck for 2 yrs and workn at port aurthur for 4yrs on and off lol

Hey guys having my motor built atm and just wondering if I should have a drain welded into sump and what size I was thinking a -10earls fitting. And just bunging it off until I upgrade turbo from standard to either a gtx42 or t51r cheers

Yeah hes now recomended I run manley rods and ross pistons so now im lost on what to run

Okay so looks like its nailed down to Malha pistons, percision rods, billet oil pump gears, race ballencer, girdle plate and arp head studs. Now hoping to push 500rwkw on pump 98 with a gtx42 turbo. Anyone see any problems or things I should include in engine? Engine will be balenced etc. Now my engine builded says he think I dont need a girdle plate as they have one from fctory??

So mine last 3years on 350rwkw and 8months on 340.1rwkw before water killed my ba rods so plan is to change to 400kw club Build includes Torque plate bored, and balenced motor Forged rods pistons (most likly malhe pistons and scat rods) billet oil pump gears, girdle plate, race balencer, arp head and main bolts. -Turbo ported and flapper install -Plazmaman intercooler 800hp kit with plenum -4in intake and 4in dump/full exhaust -eboost2 controller Hopefully see 400rwkw with that Then in dec I will be take it to melborne after I fit a t51r turbo, fuel rail, 80lb injector, another 044 pump and my surge tank is set up to run two, full braided line from pump to rail going to run twin lines with separate filters then fuel pressure reg aftermarket. And a race tune and street tune. Hopefully about 450rwkw on bp98 and 550rwkw on race fuel. The powercruise to smoke some sh*tty super charged common whores

Um 4 weeks for me built motor then run in add cooler plenum, 4in intake and exhauat tune should see 400rwkw. Then be on the road until dec when it comes off the road for 2months ready for powercruise t51r turbo new fuel system etc and 550rwkw will be my aim so cruise sounds good

Yeah im going to have it balenced at the end of the day I want a motir that's going yo rev clean and get plenty of drag/race use so want it to last.

So talked to the guy doing the rebuild and he want to use malhe pistons, scat rods, acl bearing kit So parts I want to add are- Billet oil pump gears ( whats the standard pump good for) Arp head studs 12mm Race balencer And a girdle plate fitted to tie it all together. He also uses a torque plate when boring and honing. So I need to get it ballenced as its a inline6 and what sort of price should I pay to do it. Also anyone want to explain blueprint to me and rough price cheers micheal

Yeah it sucked water into the engine causing it to bend a rod

Yeah hard part is that insurance have say as to where I got work done

So short story I bent a rod in my ba xr6 turbo mk2. So my insurance is paying a bit towards it and ill be paying the rest. Any help/imput into what parts I should use/install tp make it reliable. So far I know I have to put stronger rods, pistons, change oil pump gears( do I need to change pump aswell) head studs bearings etc? Its already got valva springs Cheers guy any help greatly apreciated

I had a disagreement with my engine ending with the motor hating on me. lol so I am out for a few weeks until a rebuild or new motor
