just a question in regards to fitting a k&n oil filter to the bf xr6t (I was supplied a hp3001) same size as a z9 but the oil filter on the car seems alot smaller can the hp3001 still be used or should I stick with the ford filters any help thanks

to give a idea on power my bf mk 2 6 speed auto with 318kw atw run 12.2 119mph street tyres 19s with a retune and actuator upgrade (martini fuel) 346kw atw 11.7 @ 122mph and a 11.9 @ 124 mph with a set of semi slicks and with 276kw atw it managed a 12.6 just to give you a idea

while checking all my hoses and piping on my car I noticed the hose from the boost solenoid does not have a hose clamp on the turbo (it has a clamp on the solinoid) but hose just slip onto the connection on the turbo is this correct or should there be a hose clamp

yer they must be getting harder ive been there and they have just said you need it next time other guys say its ok so they have finaly cracked down on it (I didnt take the chance and purchased a new helmet with as/nz standards etc)

hey mate why did they knock your helmet back if it had a as/nz1698 that's what they require was it a new helmet

I race in super street and use a 4 point dj safety harness very good and highly recommended (dont bother buying a second hand harness they range from 180-220 new for a good harness

hey corzza cool im sure we will catch up yer as it said wasnt my quickest run ran two 12.2 @ 117mph and two 12.3 @ 114 mph car running consistant low 12s (still havnt sorted tune problem 100%) due to bta having a small fire (panelshop next door burnt down) so well on the way to 11s

what a good night (arvo) it did start to very quiet around 8 oclock with most people leaving I think I managed 8 runs in total set a pb also street tyres street tune managed a 12.219 @ 117.33 (managed a 12.2 next run also followed by 12.3) car was running very well was good to see other xr6t out and about

I have a mate that run consistant low 12 sec passes at wsid and went up to willowbank qld and cracked a 11.7 first run I was under the impression it was quicker up there I dont think wsid is down hill (I wish) lol

mate ill be there will be good to catch up corzza (should get a chance to have a decent chat this time)

found this on wsid website is confirmed 9th may saturday street meet racing 2pm-10pm

that's correct not labeled wrong funny to watch I let the ricer go half track and still caught up lol

what a top night I had my bf xr6t there im sure I spoke to jimmy (do you own the white typoon) you would have seen my car IH8HSV best run of the night was a 12.4 @ 113mph I had a slight problem with my tune cutting out in third gear at 3500rpm soon to be sorted was a big turn out by the ford boys
