just because they are cheaper now with more features doesnt make them better Check the weight on the cheapies, they are genrally too light to deliver the continuious power requirements that the "older" units could. Most of the weight in any 240v amp is in the transformer(s). you cant make them lighter without sacrificing something. Some brands are still making good amps that will deliver what you expect, but after spending 10 years in the electronic audio industry I just thought I should let you know that the main reason for the reduction in price is due to the use of components

Just wanting to know if anyone has done a self install of TFT screens into BA headrests?? Or even if you have had it done by some one else, can you tell me where the power and signal wires run to get the the headrest? Do the wires run in the seat? does the seat need to be opened and re stitched to run the wires??

a mate of mine works for VDO (dash suppliers for BA's). He told me the micro controller in the dash cluster can be reprogrammed to do what ever you like (0-100 times, shift alert etc...) The only catch is you need a contact in vdo that is willing to reprogram your cluster for you! I've been waiting for mine for months now, I keep getting the "really busy at work" line damn *beep* teaser
