  1. If you go into Ford.com you can check out the new colours and click on Ford interactive and you can choose your colours Wheels etc
  2. Wasn't phantom being replaced by Vibe?
  3. Very nice hot Body, nice skin tone, nice lump in the front and the show girl is not bad either what's she going to do when the camel wants it's toe back? Well done Ian!
  4. Two weeks ago mate of mine picks up his new Blueprint GT what can I say I was breaking my neck to get in and have a drive . It took me a week to get over and see him and there it was :inlove: Beautiful, Awesome, Unreal just a few words that come to mind. So he throws me the keys and says take it for a run almost sprinted to the car, had to contain my excitement it was almost like the day I picked up my T anyway jumped into the exceptionally contoured driver's seat man those things hug you close (is this starting to sound like a penthouse article or what?) Turned the key and then nothing!! Doh! Starter button you idiot!! WOW what a rumble for more than a fleeting moment I thought about taking it to show SWMBO and doing a bit of a hard sell and I guarantee it would have been hard was from the time I hit that glowing red button. I though what the hell has this guy been doing only had 390k's so off I go, that sound is intoxicating couple of long stretches of road they just wind up so nicely through some twisty corners handling is in my opionion great for so much weight, nicely set up inside just felt so different to the T thing that impressed me most put your foot down and Whooshka no lag!! Woo Hoo!!! Now for the part that was more than a little dissappointing couple of times during the drive I thought I heard what sounded remarkably like, no it counldn't be not at this stage, so young, so beautiful and then It happened again that unmistakable dreaded scourge SHUNT!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbeleivable but true with only a mere 390k's on the clock only very slight but nevertheless still there got back mentioned to my mate and wished him luck if ever he hoped to get it rectified not to worry I explained to him that many of us have reluctantly learned to live with it, well at least put up with it he is a seasoned Ford man and has owned many a Ford his response ahh well typical ford Manual then! well anyway apart from that I'm in love all over again don't get me wrong still love my T but I can appreciate a little more what the GT owner's amongst us were going through after their first drive. Anyway sorry to ramble on just thought I'd share my thoughts. Cheers!
  5. I would have thought that your time was pretty damn good for your first outing I hope this is not too off topic and it may have been covered before but what are the best times known for stock T's
  6. Hey Matt, Not sure but I reckon that they are the same wheels that are on the DJR 320 check the DJR website for specs they do look awesome.
  7. Have seen the chrome boot trim on Black before would give a jelly fish a horn looked awesome even considered putting on mine just can't get my head around $120 for some chrome plastic. On another note I get my car serviced at the same place as Scotty and even the service manager gives his car a huge wrap as to how good it looks a real sleeper can't wait to see it in the flesh.
  8. That's GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Mate I think you take the chocholates for that one. GOLD GOLD GOLD
  12. Sounds like good advice from Adam but it all comes down to if the dealers prepared back up their claims and put their money where their mouth is. I'd almost bet that they wouldn't?

    rice or nice ?

I'm hoping to have the same thing done with my sedan over the next month agree that the factory tip would look better, this is what I wanted but the guy from the exhaust place said they can't do a factory one because they are tapered to mould with the bumper curve and Ford dont offer the reverse tip??? Makes sense I guess. The option he suggested was stainless steel 3" dual tips anyway you probably would have guessed I give it the thumbs up BTW don't the utes have a twin tip anyway????
  19. Hope that's not Ian's mate, remember the one with no bottom left in it

    BRISBANE CRIUSE

OK you Blokes help me out and share some of your secrets I'm going to have to sweet talk/negotiate with SWMBO :flowers: and convince her that going on a nice cruise with some great looking cars is a better alternative than a quiet relaxing Mother's Day Lunch somewhere. I know what I'd rather be doing!!!!!!! You guy's must have some good techniques! Need to keep the risk of bodily harm to a minimum
  21. TC Had the very same problem but the dealer fixed it seemed to know exactly what to look for said he had come accross it a couple of times before. Theres very thin rubber boot lid seals that sit between the boot and wing one of these was not sitting flush and was allowing heaps of water in every time it rained or I washed the car. Hope this helps and you get it sorted out. Cheers

    Detailing Advice

Thanks Guys Some good options and as suggested will probably try and talk to a local panel beater to get their spin on it. Just wanted to try and avoid buffing for fear of "buff burn" with thin paint as some have mentioned. Cheers
  24. Hi All, Just after some advice on the best method to remove overspray only noticed this the other day after a big clean, it's the strangest thing bonnet to boot a fine mist over the entire car glass and all thankfully it can only really be seen right up close or felt as you run your hand over the paint Some genius has obviously felt the need to paint something close by and the wind has done the rest. Anyway just want to know if anyone has had any experience with this sort of thing and the best method to remove it? I've heard something before about a clay bar cleaner or something similar. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TA
  25. Yeah couple of classics love the 2nd one how much of a goose would he feel?
