JB, I think that your list is fairly accurate (no need for the flame suit) and these as you have mentioned seem to be fairly common concerns for some. The real difference I guess for many is how these issues are dealt with by their service departments, if and when they do arise. I have had all but two of the issues you listed above, but having said that have had a fairly good run with getting most of them sorted. All things said and done, I would certainly buy another one in an instant, better still maybe even a Foon or Gt next time!

Looks great! Maybe a silly question but would you normally paint these whilst on the car or are you better off removing them all together? What colour would look best on a black car?? The same Blue as Cikas or Red?

Well done Mate, looks great! Feel sorry for some of the sensible young guys and girls around that get stung so bad with insurance. As a couple of people have suggested can't do much more to improve on the look you've created but I agree that colour coded trims would look good and maybe even a very sutble rear lip wing (DJR style)

I remember a noisey gearbox at idle (clutch out) in an old 5 speed EF I had, I replaced the throw out bearing and problem solved. I don't know if this fix is relevant for today's gearboxes?

Just checked the V8 Website after the top 10 shootout and holdens occupy the first two rows with Skaife on pole, the first Ford, Lowndes as 5th fastest, Ambrose 7th, Bright 8th and Stevie Johnson rounding out the top ten. Can't wait till Sunday go boys!

Zap, Go to the outside point they are hard enough to manoeuvre about at the best of times without having to reach further in, plus we have two boys and having some distant between them is certainly for the best that way we don't have to worry about the older one using the little one's face as a colouring in book! Muzza, What are they doing to fix it? If it's leaking from the Diff filler seal they have to take out the diff completely to repair it! Just had mine done for the second time!
