I had an NA Fairlane once with a factory roof. It leaked if it got clogged up with crud but leaked on to the floor. Just need to keep the drain lines clean and you shouldn't have too much trouble. Just do it! Nice car.
Sorry to see Envi. That absolutely sucks! I can relate, just had my car egged and left a big spiderweb of chipped paint on the roof. If I caught the little that did it I would have torn them a new one. Hope you get it fixed soon.
G'day guys, I know this isn't a Turbo topic but I thought some of you may have some first-hand knowledge on the subject. I'm looking to buy an XH XR6 ute as a delivery vehicle/general runabout and to keep the k's off the T. With the T being my first Ford and all I was wondering if any of you guys had any advice about what to look out for with the XH. Are they a good rig? Problems, etc? The ones I'm looking at have around 150-170k for around the 12 grand mark or just a standard Longreach for around 10 grand. Are these prices around the mark? TIA
Would be great to see Mark in the Renault next year - the guys a great steerer who deserves some results. Can't imagine it was a hard decision to walk away from that Williams cart!
Dash mats aren't the funkiest looking accessory you can fit to your T but it sure does help with dash glare. Did the full interior clean a couple of weeks ago and took my dash mat out. Certainly looks better without but noticed the glare straight away.
Walkinshaw Performance had their show car at Winton last weekend with some fairly good looking gear attached, superchargers, etc. The quality of the stuff looked impressive, sure they'll do OK with the Dunnydore crowd.
