  5. After some new tyres for the rear of my ute 275-30-20, im able to get the p-zeros for $375 per tyre and the continentals for $300 per tyre Iv herd great things about both just looking for some feedback n opinions on which ones to go for..

I dont like bad mouthing any products but I must say the experience iv had with my text twin plate clutch has been nothing but pathetic.. after 3000ks my ute went back to have a different material fitted because the shudder n the squeal was joke! 5000ks later after the new material had been fitted the ute had to go back for new plates because it was slipping!! The manor this clutch drives in would have been acceptable and something I would have put up with if it actually did last! In the this time my ute had seen the drags once and other then that was babied around as my daily driver 90% of the time. Iv spoken with many other guys running these same clutches and they think they are great! But like I said this is just my experience with my clutch and if I had the money I would defiantly be looking at something like the opt5

I also bought my xforce exhaust from best mufflers, cv performance installed my exhaust and it fit without any dramas, the only problem iv had is after lowering my ute the exhaust dropped down with the body of the car onto my axel, which caused the tips to push up and melt part of my rear bar, which has all been sorted now, sorry dont have any pics but good luch with it

  11. even after driving the car for over 30mins it still shows no reading, the gauge reads from as low as 40 im sure after 30mins driving the oil has hit this temp.. also on the intructions it says: YELLOW/TEMP SENSOR CONNECT TO THE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE TO GET THE OIL TEMP EXITING THE ENGINE. lol can someone make sense of that?

  13. on the weekend me and my mate installed my drift iridium gauges, boost,oil press,oil tempt (all electric) all went well except one problem.. the oil tempt gauge will not give us a reading, we played around with it for ages making sure everything is right which it is but no luck! the only thing it will display is " LO" yesterday when I started my ute it was giving me no reading at all! then after 10/15mins of driving it came back up with "LO" power is getting to all gauges and everything els works perfect! these are brand new gauges bought on Saturday so nothing should be wrong with them!! but to me it sounds as if I have a faulty oil tempt sender?? any help or ideas would be great, cheers luke

Well I got my gauges and was going to install them tomorrow, boost,oil temp,oil press my problem is I am unsure if the sandwich plate is going to work, my mate has given it to me as he was going to use it on his ba but never got around to it, mine being a bf will it still work? iv read where guys have said you need a different sandwich plate from ba to bf which now has got me abit concerned

  17. when out today in my ute first time! with 20" street tyres first run ran a very very impressive 14.09/60ft 2.715/ MPH 118 by my 7th run I had finaly cracked 12!! running a 12.95/60ft 2.258/MPH 121... GETTING THERE! 8TH RUN 12.489/60ft 2.053/MPH 121

  19. dont get me wrong 360rwkw is still alot of power and alot of fun but just like almost everyone on here, you always want more! its got nothing to do with the numbers just me wanting more power it comes on boost hard just under 4g and yes I would like a bit more down low and have asked for this and have been told it cannot be done..??

  22. I have a 06 bf with the stronger bottom end currently making 360rwkw on 17psi with mods listed below in sig. I am now wanting to do a few more mods ( plenum,surgetank/044 and wastegate porting) to get me closer too 400!! which I have seen many many guys do on the stronger bottom ends! 1st problem. My tuner is telling me it is unsafe to go anymore then another 10/15rwkw?? this confuses me because with the right mods guys are making 430rwkw PLUS!! 2nd problem. My tuner is saying my wastegate DOES NOT need to be ported as it was holding boost well already but on a cold night I can feel it overboosting! and going by what iv read an seen from everyone els's experiences even at the power level im at now the wastegate should be ported. I am not trying to have a shot at my tuner as I am happy with all work that has been done, just after some opinions as I am pretty confused as what I should do.

  24. hey mate, I bought my full S/S exhaust from best mufflers ( 4inch dump,3.5inch cat,single 3.5inch rest of the way) pretty sure it was $1600 delivered, besides it hanging a bit too low im really happy with it, sounds good not too loud but loud enough and will support 400rwkw easy, IMO its great value for money, I had mine fitted and tuned by CV performance
