Dropped the car this morning at the dealer yard and got a call from them in the afternoon. Nothing worng with car, but we flashed you're car. And it is still driving like a dog, no power. I ain't going back to Dale Ford for my 15k service. If they can reckon this T is performing norm, I might as well driving my old excel and said it is as fast as my T . That's what I'm afraid of , though I'm or was, rather, happy with stock power.

Mine is just over 13k and last saturday afternoon driving - I can feel that there's no power from the car. This morning, dropped into the dealer to find out what the problem is - got a call in the afternoon the car is ready. I asked them what the problem - No, couldn't find any problem, but we reflashed the car! And I asked them did they test drove the car before and after - the guy looked at the paper work and yes, the car is peforming at satisfactory level. Ok - get out from the dealer, gave the car abit and still in sh*t mode. No power. Even though I don't know much about cars, I can still tell the car is driving like sh*t or not. Gonna look for a new dealer.

Haha sound likes the latter one :D. It's just not right - feeling is not the same as before. Really noticed that esp when accelerating - the power is just not there. @all I've checked the connections and seems they are ok. Just came back from test driving and still the same. Gonna have to drop in the dealer tomorrow - not happy :(

Ok - first of all, this is my first turbo and don't know much about cars :D I was driving to this city this evening, I kinda feel that there was not much power from the car as usual. But didn't give any attention as nothing and there was a lot of traffic on the road. On the way back - I really noticed that it is heavy as and didn't feel the turbo kicking in :( I'm not sure what happened - as when I drove this morning it was ok. Is there anything I can check/inspect before I take it the dealer. ps - the car is stock 2004 auto.

Last time there's about 3-4 laptops and they all got cd writers. Also Scruffman got dvd writer on his laptop - so it shouldn't be a problem

Aug 04 and just passed 10k thanks to Tassie trip. Otherwise it will be alot less .

So far so good - haven't got any plan yet. The only thing would be gotta do my tax return early this year .

sh*t that's bad Phil. I don't know how handel it - if I were you I would have blown up big time to the wrong ppl . Anyway, how did CA complaint to security - any written warning/letter for you from them. If they can't provide with you with what are commercial grade lens, ie no written condition - how can they jusitify them erasing your photos and ejecting you from the seat you've bought.

Like my dad said, doesn't matter what you do - like option it up, it is still a falcon at the end of the day IMHO T with luxury pack is good enough to be a powerful car with luxury But even with that there are features like memory for seats are not avail for falcon, not that I care :D :D.

In short - Yeah, they are more expensive than third party companies. When I bought mine, it was with Ford Credit. I thought since I'm buying Ford car thru Ford credit, I might as well got for insurnace for Ford :D - assuming they will offer me better deal than others. I thought wrong - the quote they gave me was 3-400 more than what I got from NRMA. Then they said - they give new car within two years if the car is write off. But NRMA is offering that now anyway. Guess who I'm insuring with now Seriously, I'd love to see Ford offers competitive prices or better for their customers, like Subaru. ps - I read in either motor or one of those car mags and in the side bar - they reckoned before Ford released BA, parent company was in the red, while Ford Credit was the only one profitable, so I guess they have to make money somehow.

Same here - my sister swithed to CommInsure from NRMA after found out that CommInsure saved load of money. So before I bought my car, I tried to get estimate thru the site - after selecting turbo and next - got cannot do online referal or similar error. So I rang them up, under 30 no turbo :(. With AAMI - sure you can but pay upfront, yeah right :D :D 5k premium for 67K car is too much, IMHO, as I'm paying ~2.5k for 50k for mine. Would they reduce the premium if you put additional protection like - gps tracking or alike.

Since I got mine - I've been keeping track of my fuel usage like my VT. So far abit over 3000k and here are the stats, fuel is only shell optimax - Total Liter - 447 L Total K - 3024~ CBF go the car and get the exact number :D Highest L/km - 17.239 L / 100km Lowest L/km - 10.067 L / 100km // Trip to Canberra Average usage - 14.261 L/ 100km Lowest price - 106.7 c / L Highest price - 114.7c / L Average price - 111.7c / L Average is usage is not much different from my V6 VT S1 Manual at about 15-17L around the town. One of the guys from work is travelling to and from central coast to Sydney everday - and costing him about $900 bucks in fuel alone on his V6 VY S1 Ute manual. So he's gone to management and negotiated salary sacrifice - for xr6t. So he's gonna get fuel card with minimum 16week for the delivery.

Since I'm planning to Tasmania cruising - a friend of mine reckons I should get a carbra. So I rang carbra.com.au and asked for a quote for xr6t - $ 350 including gst + delivery to Sydney. We might be able to a discound if there is more than 5, like free delivery. For BA there is two days wait as of today, where Toyota celica, they can deliver straight away. So far I've got two orders - 1 x me 1 x a friend of mine - not xr6t Anyone interested?
