Thanks to all who are wishing us a speedy recovery. we are both doing ok, getting better each day. brendas got a walking stick to help her get around, and now she is just able to put on her own socks which is a great effort considering that she couldnt the last few days. With regards to the T, still waiting for the assessor to inform me if its a write-off. The only problem that ive got is that the insurance is market value of around 27k and my payout is over 30k. So it doesnt look as if im getting another T, too far out of pocket. Ive already been looking around on the net, looking for a mid size car with good fuel ecconomy so the choice is VW Jetta or Golf with DSG transmission ( clutchless manual ) drives like auto in Diesel form. It's a 2 ltr 103kw with 320Nm. There is an edit that I can get for it which will bring it upto around 145kw. In standard form, I should get over 900klm out of a 55ltr tank, with the edit it increases fuel ecconomy by another 100klm per tank !!!! Ill get it fitted with sports suspension and 18x7.5 wheels so that it will sit similar to the GTi. For you info the GTi makes 147kw and is a good $10,000 to $12,000 dearer in price. Daniel
