  1. jesus that really sucks The road rules in this country (at times) are a joke.... next time..... turn around and pass him them jam your brakes on so he hits you in the back... then you get the whole lot paid for........ Anyway I have had a couple of accidents along the same lines... so I really feel for you.
  2. OK.. none of these are for the faint hearted.... and you want to be able to do the sport before you try 1. Skiing the Palicades@ Squaw Valley Lake Tahoe USA... it so steep that when you stand on the cliff edge you can look down and see the bottom of the mountain through your skiis.... (ie around 60 degree drop around 450 m) 2 Kawasaki ZX10 @ 270Km/h betwwen Cairns and innisvale.... you really feel the rush and when your head gets above the visor you act as an air brake 3 Bungee jumping from a hot air balloon Nevada desert USA from approx 1000m 4 Scuba diving with 33 grey nurse sharks.. lol... my feline friend wasn't so thrilled about it.
  3. Yep I reckon this idea is great... lol...... wonder where it came from some lonely night in a canberra hotel anyhoo... I'm in... maybe us sydney people would like to take the coast rd down and maybe .. depending on snow... have a drive through the bogongs on the sunday. lastly the siesta is a great place to stay ( I travel around a bit) and it certainly is the best in Albury.... and it really caters for the Gay male... so Ken should be right at home
  4. Jesus.. I can't believe that.. only a year..... that's A BLOODY JOKE I completely agree She shouldn't be driving for 5 years after a stunt like that...... and in a rickety ol skyline too!
  5. Strange, and I am sure Cro would have agreed............. but I thought all the other colours were there to make mine look great.
  6. OK OK OK... I would love to do it this time...... if a stocker can compete......O wait Cro will be driving an SS......means I won't be last with him there..... Let me know the exact date when you can, cheers

  10. that's the worst "E" I have ever taken!
  11. Just reset my clock today, just under 40 hours. About 40-60% highway/ city driving, average speed 41km/h, Fuel av 13.6 L/100km hope this helps

lol ... yeah.. but what are you doing?
  13. Great pics and vids... who took the pic at lunch on the last day of shelley eating the hamburger? I would love a copy and don't mind if it gets posted here.. was a funny one. thanks
  14. Dec '03 and all is well. No problems with the brakes at all. They felt a little stiff at the beginning and are now very nice 14,500kms. cheers
  15. What a great weekend, thanks to everyone for making it memorable. Especially Andrew and Karen for all their hard work in getting it to happen Great work and I look forward to the next one!

  17. OK Accom is booked See you all on saturday.. with a feline in tow David
  18. ooooooooooooooooooo that looks terrible.... I hope it doesnt happen to mine!
  19. only 2 white tee... you got to be kidding.... that's how many cigarettes I will be bumming off you. I reckon a case of good beer, 2 bottles of good wine and some bourbon and girlie coktails are in order. Of course I won't be drinking any girlie cocktails..... you can dive in.. anyway we get to sleep it off till midday..... and then let the wives drive us to the hotel.. see you soon cheers David
  20. .. the feline were already talking about this very thing. A week driving tassie, however we won't bother with the drive down the hume. A night on the ship sounds like a hoot with great driving for a week after it. Count us in late Nov.. as my work load eases a bit by then. cheers
  21. scratch that last comment about a hot lap... I hadn't read the comments on page 2. I have now and my comments were only tounge in cheek. I was lucky enough to do a hot lap years ago when it was a one way road. lets make it all safe and sane and we will ALL have a great day. thanks
  22. Sounds Great.. as long as we can get all the blueprints on the front row. maybe a qualifying lap to see whos the fastest.... I reckon the bcl powered blueprint will win it! Count me in late june
  23. I agree with Plonky too. never even thought about that, but I agree peer pressure is what its all about. Take that out of the equation and there really are only the morons left, who will eventually kill themsleves anyway.. no matter what age they are.
  24. Great.. keep the ideas coming. The only reason I am suggesting Albury is that I know there are a few really good resort type places which are A) affordable B) have plenty of room for lots of us. C) a good bar on the property. cheers
  25. I think we should do it. Lets get some "official cred" My only concern is as I have seen here it becoming a "BA" club. I am becoming quiet passionate about my T and would hope that the club be restricted to T's only. Whether they are FPV, moded whatever,,,,, T's only please. I have no warm fuzzy feeling for a BA futura or fairlane... virtually none for the N/A and especially none for the XR8 ( to big for my liking) If there was no T, I would be driving an M3, GTR, or EVO, not a Ford. my 2 cents worth says a club for Tees! cheers
