  1. Hi Everyone I have a problem with the T. As we finished the kart day last weekend I was following a certain mod home and whilst cruising at higher than legal speeds found that the car was shuddering. I dropped it back and found that the shudder was all the way down to around 90kms. The faster I went the worse it got. Any suggestions as to what this might be? thanks in advance as usual!
  2. A fantastic day, thanks again to Antoinette. However I am not sure about competition for you son Brian... he's just a bit to good, the only time I ever saw him in each race was the time he went past me. Great to catch up with everyone and a Merry xmas and safe new year... PS...... gawd do I have a bruise on my ass!
  3. I was looking at this the other day... and it made me think... what the hell was happening that morning... and at 6:31 am.... jesus.... this can't be right..... CFJ can we maybe get a list of the members who were actually on then (in the donating members section). I am sure we would all like to be part of that record.... but not at that unholy hour! cheers

    Ford Service

I am lucky too, I have nothing but compliments for City Ford in Sydney. I lost 6 wheel caps in 8 weeks (they must have been faulty) they replaced them all under warranty and gave me 2 extras incase I needed em. Around 17, 000K's my mirror switch stopped working... so I tried to fix it and fcuked it up even worse.... np @ City Ford, fixed in an hour with a smile and not even a hint of a charge. best car company I have ever dealt with and I have had em all (except some very expensive german ones)

    Health Of The Forum

My 2 cents worth........... There has been a lot of good points raised here, and I for 1 would like to see the forums great spirit continue into the future, no matter how large we get. I once believed that when we became a club only people with XR6T's should be able to join, afterall, you can't join a cricket team and not play etc etc. However, after some discussion with other members, I have changed my mind on that point. I can see a very valid argument for anyone with an interest in this wonderful car to be able to play with us lucky (well most of us) owners. So... where does this leave us... in the hands of our beloved moderators They need to look after all of us and keep the tone of the posts, sane in this forum. If its not right, the mods need to make it so and as part of the forum we need to support their decisions. Anyhow I hope this forum continues long into the future with the same spirit it had when I joined a year ago. Whatever happens, I will be part of it for as long as I am welcome and hope I can give back some info to the many people who have helped me make very good decisions thanks to their advice. cheers Da vid
  16. Thanks again guys, the way I envisage my setup will be to have the Navman out of site under the dash somwhere with a permanent power source off the battery. So, will I need an ariel? and the can anyone suggest a permanent bracket for it so the IPAQ is close to my left hand when driving on the dash... maybe with power and cradle type setup? thanks again, this site is just so damn helpfull all the time, you guys rock!
  17. HI Everyone I have just got off the phone with 3 different Shell stations in my area and none of them have the optisoot. This was after I visited the other 3 to find them out. One of the servo's told me there was a problem at the refinery which wouldn't be fixed untill mid december. Can anyone confirm this??? thanks
  18. I am sorry to hear that Get his parents to call the phone company and see when and where the phone was used last, or better still get the cops to do. They can also trace the phone if its switched on....... but they don't like us to know this. What sort of car has he got and whats the rego number? good luck in the search

I don't want to walk around with it, just have the reciever mounted in the car somewhere. thanks in advance for any info you can give me. cheers David
