I would prefer to see it the way it is... as stated before we have all forked out hard earned cash for something special...... well those of us that have a nice colour Anyway if other turbos were to appear I would be happy as long as they all carry the XR badge...... maybe even an XR8 T ???????? my 2 cents worth

Im sure you dont want to hear it... but I got mine in 6 days from order. my advise is to ring around and see if any dealers can help you before you die of old age.. or go OS

LOL... my girl has come up with a few interesting variations on the colours. blueprint: Mid life crisis blue (my choice) Merc Silver : mature man silver Phantom : Chocolate bar purple Since I just picked up the car.. how do I become a member of team blueprint? and what the hell colour is Hgag? (it sounds terrible, like something from an evil fairy tale)

I will try for the next one LOL... and the friends we are going with have an AU XR6 (in Melb) so no doubt he will be spending some time behind the wheel :(

mmmmmmmmmmmm at last I know the feeling of driving my very own (well finance company's) XR6T. ooooooooooooooo what a feeling..... certainly nothing like a toyota! (thank god) Anyway I am just waiting till the girl gets out of bed and then were off for a weekend drive (nice and careful like..........not). Hopefully will take a few pics along the way and I will post them when I get the assembly line pics from ford. Heres a taster as I am sure you all remember the feeling of your cars when they were this young! thanks again for all the interesting posts.... they really helped especially when I was going over the car prior to delivery!... I had 3 pages of stuff to look for/ over. I am also please to report that apart from the hand brake not being great, it needs a tighten the rest of the car is in great form. Chris @City ford was also terrific with everything.. especially the 6 days waiting time LONG LIVE TEAM BLUEPRINT!

My 2 cents on this one is that I would like tomlearn how to drive my car.. ie not a beemer. The wakefield idea sounds good as it only a short trip down from Sydney. I would also like to learn how to control my car better and not just race around on a track for a day, so the training is more important to me than "hot laps" anyway... just my 2 cents worth.... and that's about all I will have left after I pick up the T on thursday!

HI Everyone I am about to pick up my XR in a few days, and the dealer is trying to sell me some paint protection, Wynns Black label for $795 Has anyone used this or can recommend another protection? Also does anyone know where the best place to get it done (in Sydney) is. I have read a few posts that have suggested that some types of protection gets applied every year for a nominal fee and I like the idea of that. thanks in advance

I used Fleet Capitol as well. Darren White is very good and helpful, the only problem was the dealer couldn't supply till Feb. SO I rang a few places and Got all my options, etc on road (bizz rego) for $46,969.48 And best of all I pick it up in a week!

I must have got lucky.. the dealer who I was going through said I would have to wait till end of Feb and there would be a price rise. I rang city ford, they had it in stock and beat the price...... l what more can I say. I'm lucky

thanks again everyone Shes a blueprint (the only colour), 17", Auto, tint, towbar, mudspats, mobile, mats and boot liner. Alarm and paint protection to be decided, so anyone who has good reports on these please let me know the brand. I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who posts here. You have helped me make a very informed decision on my new T. I ordered it today and will be picking it up on thursday...... so much for the waiting times..... yeeeeeee haaaaaaaaa!
