  1. Happy Birthday NYOPA!

  2. Hi All My BA XR6T is on acceleration pulling to the left and then with the foot easing of the gas, straightening up. If you take your foot off the gas quickly it kinda wiggles in the back. Also at high speed 100+ when applying power it rolls like a boat gently left to right until the power is off. I have had the rear shocks & bushes etc replaced and now the diff mounts and nothing has changed. Any suggestions to help me? thanks D PS this may be beter under the driveline section
  3. HI All Can anyone point me to any facts about the next series/ model, google seems to be little help at present. many thanks D
  4. Yep it looks hot and just the answer I was after.. I didn't like the ego until I saw this pic, very nice indeed and the wheels really set it off. thanks D
  5. As the 13yo says" the front looks Gheeey"... and I tend to agree. I love the inside but jesus the front is appauling, so the answer is both upper and lower grille. the car has to look a lil bit sporty, I ain't that old yet. Jules, not coming on the cruise as the blueprint beast is going in for a new transmission (2nd one in a year) on Monday. And just to prove I don't drive it hard I am still on my second set of tyres and 156K on the clock. Anyone want to by my car .... brand new trans, 156K on the clock, see below for details. Best trade in I got is $12.5K cheers D
  6. HI Everyone, it's time to get e new car and I have been offered a great deal on the G6ET, so 2 questions to the owners. 1. Can the front grille be changed ( it is so ugly) 2. Can the G6ET be modified (capa and exhaust) as the Xr6T can? thanks David

    BRAKE SHUDDER ISSUE

Just had the 120K service and guess what more brake shudder and a costly repair to the discs. The stupid thing about it is that I am still on my original set of pads! This really should be a warranty repair.

    Tyres

Probably because you drive like your driving Miss Daisy ← Nothing wrong with driving smoothly.. infact if you ask any decent (professional) driver, they will tell you it's the fastest way around a track....... I got 80,000 (almost ) out of my first set of tyres and at the the 90,000 service was told I still had more than half the original brakes left
  9. 93,263 km and loving every minute of it.... well apart from the time I decided to get an edit done and the clowns who did it were a margin above hopless... So it all standard now and still passes most holdens without a second look!
  10. It all sounds like a crock of marketing *&^% to me! I have used optimax for almost 3 years now in the T and am on the 4th tank of "V power" (sounds like a drink) and haven't noticed one bit of difference! Anyhoo.. my 2 cents worth (that's all I have left after the mortage now) cheers David
  11. Have fun everyone..... sorry I can't be there. Will be thinking of you from the villa in Bali. cheers
  12. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Glad you are ok... hope you didn't get to much of an ear full when you got home? As the black Night would say...... "it's only a flesh wound" a band aid and she will be as good as new.
  13. I finally got my cat installed and it has definetly made a difference. I can't give you figures but it sounds a lot better and reaches max revs much quicker. It also backfires between 1st and 2nd change.... hopefully the edit this week will fix all that.
  14. count me in as a possible maybe. cheers
  15. Motul turbo light... it's made for the engines we run 10/ 40 which is the current recomendation from ford for our cars. my 2.2 cents worth (inc GST)
  16. Elegantly Wasted - INXS The groove locks in from the first beat and you don't look back after that!
