  6. The standard FG will benifit best with top of the line extractors. 1. Pacemaker 2. Genie Both are fully tuned three into ones and twin into collector ( Tri Wires ) Others on the market tend to be no tuned and are cheaper with weld dags on the internal of the pipes onto the header plate. I would also suggest a SS Hi Flow Cat. If you still keep the factory cat then basicaly are not picking up opertunities by installing extractors. Hope it helps. www.performancepipes.com.au
  7. Hi I also have an FG XR6T Ute. I have found the guys at www.performancepipes.com.au are great at performance improvements and forced induction cars. They use Elite at archerfield for Dyno tunes once they have done there builds. These guys also have monster bars ( Sports Bars for the FG Soft cover utes ) Awsome.

  9. Hi Just to add some comments on this subject. In my previous life I owned a C4 Corvette which I heavily modified through John Camilleri at Performance Pipes and Prochargers www.performancepipes.com.au I then had the brock shop do the tuning ( Sham Sham ) Sorry guys. However it was the first time I experianced a negative attitude from a tuner. I understand now that the Brock shop has closed down.... However I can highly recommend John at Performance Pipes at Acacia ridge in Brisvagas. I have owned BA & BF XR6T and now own an FG XR6T Ute and Performance pipes has built and installed dump pipes, high flow cats & exhausts for all of my cars and he is currently building my 4 inch dump, 4 inch 100 cell cat and 3 & half inch single exhaust with megnaflow high flow mufflers and I am getting him to HPC the whole system to reduce drag internally and reduce heat loss externally of the system. Performance pipes has also serviced and built / installed All the usual mods available for the XR6T's. I recommend him based on experiance, Price and most of all Just a great guy with a 20 year experiance in the modified car industry. Just my experiance Guy's Regards XRT60
  10. Hi Guys My first post, I picked up my new FG XR6T Ute from Ford last week. The first thing I noticed when I got around the corner from the dealer was the noise. Exhaust rattle I thought first up and I turned to my wife and said............I can fix that. Fortunatly I own Performance Pipes and ProChargers at acacia ridge. Next morning my new car with 82 kilometers on the clock is up on the hoist which amused my customers who had to wait as I pushed my car to the top of the list for the workshop. No rattle from the exhaust. However I noticed the rub markes around the rear axle housing and wondered if at some stage in mamufacture this process grabs the handbrake cables ?? I fond that above the diff housing the cable rested against the diff and that the cable had been some how pulled out of the fastening clip. I simply pushed the cable back into the rubber clip mount and bent it a little bit tighter. Fixed the vibration. Hope this helps.
