  1. No from me this time, have fun
  2. So is that for 185/75-16 size Steve
  3. It's unlikely you will damage your clutch. BUT if bits are floating around in the gearbox, it can be a bit risky as it can get jammed in the gears and lock your wheels at speed, never mind possible further damage to the transmission.
  4. If you already have the answer, don't ask the question
  5. Well, wait and see if it comes back. If it does, sounds like the O2 sensor is suspect. Don't think the long spell without driving and flat battery would be the cause. My car gets driven infrequently, and have had a flatish battery several times, but never any codes as a result.
  6. Those error codes P1131 and P1132 will be your O2 sensor, low voltage signal or something like that. New O2 sensor, reset ECU and she's done (Quoted from other Ford forum)
  7. Earls filter works well, it is proven and has all of the above mentioned benefits, so why experiment with something unproven. If you want to go this way, then whether this filter works well would depend on screen size and how easily it clogs up compared to stock unit.
  8. Ahh, so that's what happened yesterday - Thanks
  9. I already posted yesterday, but post disappeared The caps are cast iron like the block. You can tell from machined surfaces, as they look identical between block and Caps, typical grainy appearance of machined cast iron.
  10. CAT possibly damaged? Would limit flow above certain rpm.
  11. Fair enough, it's after all the tinkering that makes it fun :sungum:
  12. Would have been good fun in the ute I imagine :sungum:
  13. Is that not an 'Alloy Head' badge on the front guard? So would have been a 4 ltr originally?
  14. Good for you, BUT very unusual as stock springs were identified very early on as a weak point in making big numbers, and many have struggled at 250 rwkw or less
  15. Ohh, and whether you need to replace the Stem Seals depends on the age and mileage of your car. It is not a prerequisite for fitting new springs, but if more than a couple of years old, definitely worth doing.
  16. Ford include Stem Seals as part of the upper engine gasket kit. Not sure if they can be bought separately.
  17. Some years ago we did a long cruise, basically met up around Perth then onto Mandurah for lunch, and then continue south to Collie turn-off then through Collie to Williams and than back on Albany Hwy. It was an all day affair, but I think most enjoyed the trip.
  18. I expect to be there Steve
  19. Look, no offence is or should be taken, statement still applies though (in my humble opinion)
  20. "Politeness should never replace honesty" As long as respect and courtesy is retained Lets not get too thin skinned in here
  21. Ok Steve, Thanks. Mash is at the northern end of West Swan Road, same complex as Swan Valley Oasis Resort
  22. Steve, Your text says meet at Mash, but map shows Yagan Memorial Park, which is it?
  23. Guys PLEASE read the posts Steve is kind enough to organise the cruise map, please don't expect him to be your nanny as well . It was to have been lunch time meet on SATURDAY June 9, but due to bad weather it was postponed to this coming Saturday June 23, and I am assuming at the same time (not much point doing scenic rural cruise in the dark).
  24. Absolutely a disgrace, and then he did a runner as well - Hmmm what to do
  25. Steve may be slow, but I think he got the message the first time....
