  1. Yes our work car has the same leak. If I work it hard to get someone and then its idling for a minute whilst im talkng I can smell the oil burn on the exhaust. It was dripping a 50c piece a day a while back but they fixed that but this problem is recurring.

    Hypnodoc's Gt

From DOC's past posts regarding the queens men over the last couple of months I can just imagine the conversation that would have gone on by the side of the road. I didnt read his post before it was moderated, (probably lucky). Im not gong to preach but I will say this I TOLD YOU SO. . I dont know where your utter contempt stems from doc but if the officer does his job correctly and you take him on, 99% of the time you will loose. Please dont think im having a chop but myself and the other coppers who frequent these pages offer every one here advise and if you commt an offence were not going to get angry or hate you but expect to be dealt with
  4. I can just picture you Basher doing runs along the strand on a sunday afternoon. I grew up there and remember the thngs we used to get up to. Mind you it was the big rock wall then. BOV as such arnt illegal but the sound they create makes is an offence. If you drive around normally then it wont whistle. Depends how you have it set up. However if you give your car a kick in the guts through the centre of town and the whistle echos off every building and scares pedestrians than the noise is undue. Offence is create undue noise in QLD. $225 and two points. Same offence for burnouts etc. BASHER if you see a blue NA xr6 in town in two weekends time give us a wave. A mate and I are playing up for the weekend.
  5. watch it basher, I know one of the boys in TSV and he is ruthless and will ticket you without a glance for that. My friendly advise remove it before you cross paths.
  6. I agree they run neck and neck to around 130, 140 then the V8 stretches its legs. As for cornering, I find the T at high revs drops its torque making it hard for it to push out of the corners. Hold the SS is second and squeeze the gas and theres definate nuts there. Do this in a clubsport R8 with improved rubber, wheels and brakes and the cornering feel is there characteristicly lke the T. Im intersted to give the XR8 a run and discover its habits. And the GT, and the GTS and the careera and the F50 and the Jag R. Sorry drifted off there
  7. yea I got this new mobile phone real cheap. I have to carry this handbag around and the phone is connected by a cord to the bag. This is the latest I was told

    Xr6t Speed Limiter

The Turbo ute we got the other day at 194km/h should have read this. He cools off for 6 months unfortunately. In a dual lane 80 zone I might add.
  10. Policing in America, I would not associate any of it to the way its done here. The best reality Police depection is the Aussie movie "The interview" with Hugo WEAVING. that's how it operates. Check it out when you have some time

Hmmm Pauline HANSON is a honey and goes off in the sack
  13. But the clean up rate is 100% !!!!. I mean turning nothing into a solid pinch, how do they do it. I cant watch any of those shows, too busy picking it to pieces. Simpsons now that's reality TV
  14. Good to see our taxpayer funded cars get so well treated. Remind me to buy an ex HWP car next time The quicker we turn the quicker we can issue the ticket therefor replenishing those lovely funds. As Plonky said, I turn it on its nose all the time. A normal turn would be a three point turn thus blocking a 100km/h stretch of road longer. Pull down into first and a sqeeze on the gas and the V8 turns beautifully. TC for general use, couldnt agree more. TC for Police, not an option
  15. Yes I turn it off when I start her up. A pain it is doing this all the time but so be it

    I'm Back

Driving in a taxi around Kuta and Dempesar watching the close proximity and hundreds of near misses by hundreds of scotters and cars driving on the same bit of road. Stopping is optional at red lights. If you dont like your lane drive in the oncoming one, they get out of the way or someone makes space to let you in. If not go up the gutter. As for the local boys....they set up on a street corner and if they catch you doing something wrong, they want a 50,000 rupiah note and the problem goes away. Mongrels took my bottle of OP rum at customs. Integrity is not a pivital thing in Bali. But to my amazement, no accidents. There judgement is impecable leaving on the smallest margins (cm sometimes). However 80 was the fastest we went. Oh yes a family of four can fit on a nifty fifty without helmets and travel 30cm away from your taxi. I learnt a good saying over there "no money no honey, no problem"
  19. check this out sorry file to big only had a little bit on there
  20. As a copper who trains there I can give you this advise. Dont worry about the diesel smell. I used the cars that live there and they are fine once washed. Your vehicle will be putrid but it washes off very easily. The LVMA is good only if they will set up the course that we do and tests your ability of braking, steering and manouvering under acceleration plus judging distances. If it is just the large area with no activity dont waste your money as you will get your enjoyment from the skid pan. Now boys you must complete the skid pan lap totally sideways around everycorner with your foot on the gas. The turbo should provide the power to do it. Leave it in second and go for it. The NA's just have the legs but bounce off the rev limter. V8's breaze it in. The real challenge is doing it dry. Murder on the rubber but I dont pay for it so no problems. I do know a couple of peope who work there and could make some inquires if you want

    I'm Back

Yes I wondered where you went, I thought you had had it with the poltics. Ive been away too in Bali for two weeks. I have come back with a sceptical look at Australias road safety campaign after what I witnessed over there.
  22. definately SS by day, euro style. Blue XR by night is clearly visible and turns heads on multi lane carriage ways. BMW m series takes the prize.
  23. Mate I reckon it will be just as big a piece of crap as their supercharged sh!tboxes, perhaps they missed the boat this time, must be painful for the arrogant pricks in their mongrel management team to finally have to face reality. I have had bad dealings with them in the past and I despise them. Give me another Holden, but give me a can of petrol and a box of matches to go with it :banghead: your an angry man
  24. good point
  25. have you completely lost your mind, I wouldnt put the standard brakes on a datto 120y You may drive differently to me. As I said, they are fine for me.
