  1. CIB, general duties, Tactical Crime squads etc that's thier primary role. Traffic has a primary role too, and that's what they do. That line is wearing old, and that was ten years ago. Mount Cotton, love the place never get bored of gong there, actually thinking of being an instructor one day.

    Kw Readings

ummm, what does this button do.
  3. Excellent points plonk, however you put a young driver in a defensive driver course it will do two things 1. Improve the driving capabilty of the youngster within that controlled and familiar environment. (overall positive) 2. Make the driver "bulletproof". If he/she is tought a different level than the youngster (we all have him tucked away) will come out and feel obligated to show their friends the new things they have learnt whch means coming unstuck in a big way. (seen in Europe) I have seen it and I know you would have when completing advanced driver courses, motorcade courses etc. How often would an adrenelin pumped comrade go that little bit more... Its human instrinct amongst peers. Those skills are not something you pick up over night but I admit it is a good thing if dicipline is apart of the overall package when it comes to young drivers.

bad call from the salesman. He should have known that at eighteen and test drving an XR he was going to flog it. It would have been a wild horse getting away from him. I will never get used to attending those scenes. We may all be wrong and the truck could have been at fault. However I have been in this game long enough and have a gut feeling what caused it. Thier famlies must be shattered.
  5. Yea in QLD we are about to get a base Hyundai and put a 7 foot spoiler on with 15 inch mags, a body kit that would make a balaneze scooter owner proud. Oh sorry and a 50 inch subbie that has to carried in a trailer. No one will suspect a thing we could park right next to the rest of the knobs and they wouldnt even know.
  6. As I was just made aware. It's a SANYO. No bloody wonder. Probably put a bulk order in when the designer went shopping at Crazy Clarks or something
  7. Sanyo crap, no wonder everyone is having it replaced. I noticed Expensive Daewoo went for the punkt. That stuff is good
  8. someone pushed the button. On or Off
  9. More important things to chase I recon.
  10. Yea, as I was saying before theres nothing like that in QLD. Dont know whether that is a good thing or a bad thing
  11. explain to me what your hassle is. Excuse my Far Northern ignorance

A witness would always help. The ticket person should realise the chalk mark is missing and you would be OK. Heres one for ya. My sister is a Barister and tld me a funny story. A gentleman bought a Winebago is the US (of course). He set the cruise control and then stood up and went to the back. Of course the vehicle crashed. He then filed a suite on the company stating that it did not stipulate in the manual what exactly was cruise control. YES he won a new campervan and a rediculous amount of money. Serenity now
  14. If you were in QLD you could take a cruise on your learners. Ahhh the smart state.
  15. We had a directive through work not to play burnt discs in the BA's and the VY's as the system jamms up and has to be replaced. Ive seen it happen but am not convinced that this it the reason. Can anyone shed some light on this

    Aussies Win

England - Wilkinson = Romania Australia = Toquiri + Mortlock + Courage + Determination + Bundy Bear divided by forwards subtrating Wilkinson = Victory(hangover) Australia - New Zealand = law of probabilty
  17. Far North Queensland service department. Not happy Gearbox needed to be replaced fair enough. Three weeks later started calling. "Oh sorry we damaged the cat converter taking it out, we shoud have on the road this afternoon. 3 days later "oh it hasnt arrived yet. Finally they return it to the office, but put it into drive and after 5 seconds a loud clunk. NO BLOODY OIL. Ring them up and they take it back and to this date it is still there. These screw ups are influencial in peoples decision making when making purchaes... to a certain degree. Fair enough the youngens in the workshop must start somewhere but dont throw them the tools and then leave them to destroy.
  18. blueprint what a colour. I was in the dealer looking at the car and I herd it whisper to me "Why are you staring" I said, "oh, I'm sorry I was lost in your blueprint" And the rest is history. She is moving to Qld in just 8 weeks to live with me. I hit the jackpot too, she said I can drive her as hard as I want, She loves it.
  19. A simple solution, dont breed. My T will be my kid. I will hug him and love him and tweet hm like my bwery own. Ive even allocated a spot between me and the missus. The exhaust s sweeter on the T believe me :augen:

Yes Aust and France, what a game. It was a great team effort with Lottie and Mortlock playing thier hearts out. Wasnt Brian BROWN and Sam NEIL smashed. If England win old WILKNSON will be shakng n his boots. The forwards are already grinning on what hts they can perform.
  22. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: If that's the case I will spend my entire eight hour shift in the office playing playstation. Someone come and offer me the blue pill then please.

You can find that part of policy in three manuals. 1. Operational Procedures Manual. 2. The complete chronicals of Hugh HEFNER. 3. A day in the life of Jasmine SINCLAIR
  24. Good point, I am not saying that that split second will alow you to perform a magical power slide or handbrakie that will save you and your car. The probabability of the collision is 90% but the difference is coping the car in your back half rather than the drivers door might just save your life. Goind slower is not and never will be the only solution. I look at it as a cog in a watch. If it is missing than the whole damn thing will not work.
  25. Im hearing you chief, that's why Im "curious". I should change my name to convinced now. I will have mine in January. Have I copped crap from my mates over it too.
