No Matt, everybody is missing the point that the guy has been off the gear for 6 weeks and has 4 independent drug tests to prove it. Most of whats coming out in the media is about one word of truth for every paragraph of crap and a whole lot of mostly edited youtube vids. Same sh!t happened to Mel. When his present troubles started last April or May I told TMZ one line which was "Mel is a great guy and a terrific father," they made a 4 paragraph story of nonsense out of it and my mobile and email ran hot from every rag mag and internet celeb site for a month after so I just deleted and hung up on them without saying boo. Knowing Charlie, he will play this and stir them up for all its worth it's just who he is. At least he has the balls to admit that he's snorted a mountain of peruvian dancing dust and so what? Although I don't agree with it personally, it's his life and his brain, at least he could afford it without to violence or robbery. My bet is that you will see this all fade away when the next accused is given a trial by media. These guys all know it will happen to them eventually, its just a matter of when and how severe it is. Then they bounce back, Robert Downey Jnr is a classic example drug and booze free now and on top of the world, 10 years ago he was jailed for drugs and vilified by every printing press on the planet. Charlie will be fine.

    Nsw Election

Parties change but policies never do. The political scene in this country is an international joke and an embarrassment. 100s of money grubbing rorting professional liars who will say anything and do practically anything to feather their own futures and ruin the place. The whole thing spins on a never ending wheel of Treason and Stupidity .

He has had 3 tests in the past 4 weeks, clean dude. By his own admission he hasn't always been that way, far from it he's a party master but at the end of the day that's his business. He would be treating his interviews because he doesn't really give a toss especially about the media. 60 minutes was interesting tonight they tested him to and it came up clear.

Hey John. Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen are personal friends of mine and I have been with Mel many times and witnessed first hand the sort of crap you are sprouting so lets get a few things straight re your sources. 1. He is not anti Semetic, his publicist, his PA, his agent and many of his friends are Jewish. 2. The media inspired urban myth came when he was picked up drunk driving in Malibu, it was the day that Israel invaded Lebanon, James Mee the copper asked him what he thought about the invasion and his reply was "The Jew's are responsible for all the wars aren't they?", that's where the over touted anti Semitism came from. 3. It was also Mee who called the other female copper "sugar tits". 4. He is not a Holocaust denier, his father Hutton is. 5. Who cares if he is Catholic, Protestant, or a bloody Mormon. 5. My 90% claim was to demonstrate the irrationality of your statement. It is not a sign of much wisdom to put crap on a person from what you read in the media, and your other sources are not that accurate. As for Charlie he has an out there sense of humour and doesn't take crap from anybody, half of the stuff in his media interviews is probably his way of sh!t stirring.
  5. I think I've answered my own question. I had the front hubs done at the same time as the brakes and if you swing left to right the noise will temporarily go away, guess its a faulty or poorly fitted front hub.
  6. Pleasure mate. Interesting the Germans and Swiss are making great progress with this cancer, this was a headline today http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/nation/recovery-could-rewrite-leukemia-treatment-rules/story-e6frg6nf-1226016138992

Yeah Yob, well your opinion like everybodies is of course your entitlement, however it is based on your extensive knowledge of the the crap the media come up with, they are better blokes than 90% of the A Holes you meet in the street. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story is a classic media adage. You should believe about one word in every hundred of what you read in the papers or see on the news and never form a valid opinion based on their half truths and lies.
  8. I ahd new discs and pads put in the car and then went to the US, came back and noticed that it has a cyclic solid rattling sound that increases in speed with the car that is only audible with the window down. At first I thought it was wind flutter from the D/Side window sheild but driving against a freeway wall it is much louder and definately coming from the car . Has anyone had this issue before? It is a different sound than the swoosh swoosh that results from incorrect handbrake adjustment.
  9. Good on you Worm an admirable thing you are doing. There's another $100 closer. Cancer is a mongrel curse especially Lukaemia as it mostly hits the kids. Personally I spent a long time working with the victims, for my money if it ever got me or my family I would be off to Switzerland like a shot, they have a great success rate with their medical treatments.

With 350 million in the bank he can be whatever he wants. Despite all the media crap, just like Mel Gibson, he's actually a great bloke. It's a shame the gossip sites and the rag media don't talk about the 10's of millions these guys give to kids and other charities. Sheen passed his blood tests X 2 but he's pissed off the wrong dudes who presume to control Hollywood. On the upside he's taking his show to HBO for twice the money. The only ones who lose here are CBS and Charlie doesn't really give a crap what people do or don't think about him. At least he speaks whats on his mind. When you get up as high as these guys do a good media slagging of crap and half truths is inevitable.
  11. I know there are a lot of good and earnest coppers out there who do the best they can, arrogant HWP excepted, but they say rot goes from the top down. read this on the internet news today. I wonder if they have enough influence to sweep it under the carpet VICTORIA's top watchdog has expressed concern about the existence of a secret group called The Brotherhood in Melbourne. Members of The Brotherhood include senior police, politicians, public servants and former police. In a report tabled to parliament this morning, ombudsman George Brouwer says there are up to 350 men on the circulation list for The Brotherhood and they meet every four to six weeks at inner-city restaurants. Men on the circulation list have been the subject of criminal and corruption investigations, including a former Victoria Police officer with alleged links to an organised crime figure, a former Australian Wheat Board executive accused of involvement in the Iraq kickbacks scandal, and the manager of a table-top dancing club regulated by the police. Mr Brouwer says The Brotherhood, which was formed in 2003 by a former police inspector whose service record including assaulting a member of the public, was established to serve the interests of the founder, who controls membership of the group. "The culture of the organisation ... encourages exclusivity and secrecy, with the potential for illegal and improper exchanges of information or favours," Mr Brouwer says in his report. The Victorian Ombudsman also found that at The Brotherhood lunches, there was an "unauthorised disclosure by a senior Victoria Police officer of the identity of a prosecution witness in a high-profile murder case". Mr Brouwer concluded "such a release probably occurred at a Brotherhood lunch, but it was not possible to determine who made that disclosure". "My investigation points to the significant dangers of police officers and public servants being involved, wittingly or unwittingly, in an organisation such as The Brotherhood where there is a culture which allows for inappropriate networking and improper exchange of favours and information," he wrote. "Membership of such organisations undermines the effectiveness of those officials and the organisations in which they serve and potentially places their reputations at risk." Police Commissioner Simon Overland told the Ombudsman that he shared Mr Brouwer's "deep concerns over the activities of The Brotherhood and the direct involvement of both serving and retired members of Victoria Police". "Such gatherings, even when totally benign, have the potential to undermine confidence in public institutions especially policing," he said. The founder of the group denied it was secretive, instead saying they were like Apex and Rotary and Brotherhood were "men of good ilk".
  12. Too late mate. I'm not ripping the bugger apart again, although I did break the mirror adjuster taking the drivers door trim off, stuffed it I could figure out how to unclip it and ripped it too hard and it flew to bits. After I pay fraud whatever extortion they are going to charge for a new one I'll take a pic of the inside drivers door during the hour it will take trying figure out how to fit the thing, it looks like it is tandem with the window switch .
  13. Completely and also the inside of the rear 1/4 panels, make all the rumble go away
  14. Independent or otherwise. "All of the politicians lie to all of the people all of the time". Federal or State, if they are not lying cheating self serving ar$e bandits when they get a seat it doesn't take them long to become that way. As for Queen Joolia ; Australia's global embarrasment, christ and to think I thought Pauline Hanson was bad enough.
  15. Bought a big swag of Dynamat Extreme on my last US trip for about 1/4 of the price they charge here, 35 sheets for US$240 at Pep Boys which is like a US Supacheap. Over the last 2 days I have covered the parcel tray top and bottom, inside bonnet, inside boot walls and wheel well, inside roof, inside doors, and under the rear seat. The difference is nothing short of incredible. All the tinny sound is gone, the doors, bonnet and bootlid shut with a thud now and there is not a rattle to be heard. Road and wind noise is drastically reduced and the stereo upgrade I paid $1500 for a year or so ago was a pretty good improvement now its sensational Even at the Aus cost of this stuff it is well worth it if you have the inclination and a day or 2 to spare. Shame FPV don't do it standard it makes the car whisper quiet and gives it a solid and quality built feel
  16. Pre my to4z had a stock ve SS beat me till 3rd as fighting wheelspin 1-2 with the nangkangs then shortly after with the proxy's ran a guy on a triumph rocket 3 from 2 sets of lights and beat him both runs so the proxy's can't be to bad. The Rocket 111 was a BSA, the 3 cyl Triumph was a Trident, a stock T would beat either as both could be whipped by almost any Japanese 2 stroke 250cc made after 1972. Hence the demise of the British motorcycle industry.

    New Dbas

Most likely the pads and not the discs, some squeal and some don't
  18. Unbeleivable to see whats happened over there. If there is a god he must be might pissed with Oz and NZ at the moment
  19. Ahhh good old Ford service. I bought a brand new XR6 for my sales manager a few years ago and it made it 22 klm before the sump plug fell out and dumped all the oil. Fors service usually means paying $160= an hour for some apprentice on 3rd world wages to practice on your car. Except for warranty issues and the rare good service dept, JUST DON'T. Adopting that attitude will save you a lot of money and a lot of heartache. They have NFI
  20. Ford you either get a good car or a bad one, their QC can be abysmal. Dealerships are just the same either great or absolutely fcuking hopeless Sometimes its easier to just get rid of the thing and have another go.
  21. Jeeeeezzzzzzuuuuuuzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I got 3 years and 29000klm out of my 4 pots. I must be driving like a damn nancy pensioner; see what bloody speed cameras do? I just replaced the front discs with DBA 4000s machined the rears and put Project Mu's all round on it. Replaced the front hubs with OME parts at the same time. Now it stops much better and all the rumbling noise has gone. Picked up an Avis 5 ltr 2010 Mustang with 6200 miles at LAX on Tuesday and it had the same bloody hub noise as the BFs get, swapped it for another one with 11000 miles on it and whisper quiet. Must be the luck of the draw. Gave it a bit of a tickle on a long straight today and they don't stop pulling even at 150 MPH. Great to drive in a place where the coppers are not really that interested in speeding and don't know the meaning of the word Hoon.
  22. I got a good setup off ebay designed to fit on and replace the heat exchanger, there was a link to it off this site somewhere. Its a big PWR unit still sitting in the box with a few other goodies for Xtreme to fit when I get back from the good ol US of A. Hertz are renting bright yellow LS3 Vettes for $68 a day at the moment, had a hell of a drive from LA to Vegas last week, going back tomorrow. The Vet will rocket to 160 MPH real fast and the cops here aren't very interested in catching speedsters. Never thought I'd say much good about a Chev but these new Vettes make the R Spec feel loke a 3 legged race horse.
  23. Best way to get rid of ants Dillz is to buy a packet of NutraSweet, cheap as dirt, and spread it about, kills the little buggers in a day or so. When I saw how fast it worked it put me off diet coke forever
  24. I have trouble with the Govt spending so much so that farmers can download porn faster. I am always traveling and have never had an issue getting on line with a hotel server or my trusty Vodaphone stick thingy. To the vast majority of people who are not rural dwellers or internet boffins this entire thing is just another absolute waste of money. IMHO its worse than the insulation debacle because this time they actually state that they know what they are doing and yet here they are about to borrow 46 billion while they are bleating about having to find 20 billion for flood and cyclone victims. Seems they have their priorities all twisted around to me. I wonder how many international 5 star trips those who are in charge of this have taken already. I would bet a million dollars that if you dug far enough, you would find another academic idiot like that Ross Garnaut who advises the Govt on the fallacy or man made global warming, is the one pulling all the strings behind this issue which will more than likely metamorphasise into Australia's latest money wasting debacle. It would also pay to bear in mind that never in living memory has any government ever bought any project home within its designated budget and so according to that formula 46 billion @ 3% inflation during the past year they have been tossing themselves about this it is already about 1.6 billion over projected budget. If this nonsense goes ahead it will blow out to at least 55 billion. See what Queen Joolia has to say about it then. What a huge waste of money and another potential international embarrasment.
  25. Had the Advans, overpriced and lose their grip and quietness after 10000 klm. Had the Marangonis for 3000klm started getting little cracks in them although both were better than Dunlops. Got Sumitomos HTZR 111s, well priced, quiet, sticky, very happy and I'm a fussy dickhead. If your not on a racetrack, unless you go for super cheap junk theres not really much in it except for price which can be up to $200 a wheel
