  1. Hi guys, Need some help please! I have a 2007 BFmk2 FPV Tornado Ute, 6 speed manual. I had my clutch replaced over 18 months ago and since have had problems with the clutch pedal losing its pressure, its current got about 75mm of free play before it begins to engage and moves the clutch, and when I say free play I mean its basically floppy. So now I cant even get my car into gear because the pedal wont move the clutch enough. At first I though it was a slave cylinder issue but it seems to be just something out of place. I do recall hearing about an issue with a spacer needing to be put it when replacing from a standard factory clutch. Has my mechanic forgotten to do this? Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
  2. Hi guys, Need some guidance ASAP! I have a 2007 BF FPV Tornado Ute 6 speed manual. I have a leaky high pressure power steering pump line and as some of you may know there are 2 different kinds to this part when it comes to buying a replacement. One which has 2 bends at the bottom and one which has 3. Can anyone tell me which I need to get? Thanx!!!
  3. hi, I have a 2007 BFmk2 6 speed FPV tornado. purchased at 99,000kms now having 120,000. whilst driving home from a long trip away in mackay last week, my ute suffered a severe driveline blowout. unfortunately my car is way too low so there was no way I could determine the exact issue right away and after finishing the final stage of my long drive home with the ute making ghastly noises coming from just behind the gearbox, I had it trucked to my mechanic only to find out it as alot worse then I had pictured. apparently the centre bearing rubber had basically disintegrated and the centre bearing and the hanger went long with it leaving only the drive shaft to be held up by the exhaust which copped a brutal beating also. now im left with the expensive issue of getting her back on the road. my mechanic says he can fix it no worries if he can get the parts but apparently its a different (smaller) housing and he cant just buy a centre bearing nor the hanger on its own, despite already welding in plates in the tunnel to mount the new hanger too, where the old bolt holes where sheared out, theres no way im paying $3000+ for a whole new drive shaft setup. is there anyone here who has faced a similar problem or has a solution for me????? for some reason my mechanic says this model was a rarity and standard parts from any other model don't work. im no expert but this sounds like a pretty big f*ck up on fords behalf as I was told the centre bearing had been replaced on this vehicle once before and if its not fixed right this time will happen again and again. I am also told this is not an uncommon story from these utes??? PLEASE HELP???

  9. ok so my mate just bourght an xr8 ute with a hardlid which has a spoiler on it, he seems to think that its a wankers wing n wants it off, problems is he dosent want 4 little holes in his lid, who has a good DIY solution or dose anyone know where to get some little plugs or anything just through any good ideas at me to I can shut my mate up??? cheers.

  14. gaped the plugs to 0.7 this afternoon like u guys said, and now she goes great, sits on 10psi and just pulls no problems, loves it. on my way home though from the test run a vl turbo raced me, and I dunno how but it won, so I think I have some work to do yet . thanx guys.

AAAARRRGGGHHHH, man christmas is the worst time to have agroup buy like this, january and i'd be in hands down...but with the holidays being the time when i have to spend so much on others...there wont be so much left for myself....then again who knows maybe i'll get a great chrissy bonus. yeah rapid, hell keen but i am gunna be damn stretched for cash b4 the end of the yr.

  17. finally got my flash box and finally got it to work and loaded it on today (10psi tune). I wanted to run it in so the computer could suss it out propperly so I took her for a cruise down the coast tonight. she drives good like normal and 1st n second are all shweet (full boost pulls hard and spools up real narce! but 3rd n 4th, as soon as it hits full boost she misses and gets abit spitty, a mate of mine said he had to regap his sparkplugss to get his to run right with the tune and I was thinking I will probobly have to do that to fix the problem or els I was thinking it might have something to do with my cat back exhaust or the 3inch dosepipe I have coming off the front of the turbo? could it be sucking in just abit much air for her as such speed? I know its all basic sh*t and its been asked b4 and deep down I know I should just got get it tuned propperly, but all in good time... any help appreciated??? cheers.
