    Hi guys. I hope you can help me out. My ute started playing up in second gear. At around 4000 rpm it starts to choke for a bit and then its fine. I went to see my tuner straight away but he is booked out atm. I connected an obd to my computer and P2563 is shown, which is P2563 OBD-II Diagnostic Powertrain (P) Trouble Code DescriptionTurbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor A Circuit. Have you had this issue in the past?

    I ended up buying 255/55/16 ETs and got them fitted to 16/7 inch alloys. What a grip....

    He is more worried that if anything breaks he will be up for tens of thousands. ..he also admitted that he has no chance of beating me.

    My mechanic is not sure why all of the sudden all these faults have appeared. He reckons its something to do with my computer, but Im not sure.... What do you think? I have new seats so pls disregard those 2 faults.

    Mine is 4 sp reconditioned auto. It's not sliping. All mods are about 4-5 years old, including fuel pump. The car was retuned and dynoed couple of weeks ago. It works without any dramas when launched from around 2000 rpm, and it goes into stupid mode when launched harder....

    Took the ute to Calder. Managed 12.9, 12.8 and 12.6 with a slow 2.2 sec 60 feet. Ute has 319 rwkw. I was told by few to work on 60 ft to get into 11secs. Upgraded rear tyres to et streets. Tried again. Launched It from 3000 rpm with 60 ft at 1.8 sec but then auto refused to change into second gear and started to cut off the engine. I had to throw it into drive. still managed 12.6. second run. 60 ft is 1.9 the auto goes into second gear but then ute started to shake, felt like it was running low on petrol or out of air. Had 3/4 full tank with bp 98 and octane booster. Very strange. When launching at 2200 rpm no problems at all, when launching at 3000 rpm then the ute is unpredictable. Any ideas what can cause this madness?

    The Maserati has been constantly avoiding going to Calder and Heathcote. Today he told me that he will no longer race this car. Sorry no more videos with slow Maserati

    Saski - It would be nice to run high 11s or low 12s. We will be going to Calder some time after New Years for round 2 . Do you want me to keep you posted?

    Saski- I also managed 12.86 that night but I can not launch above 2,000 rpm without smoking tires. I had brand new ku39 in 275/35/19. Now I'm looking at getting mt's et's semi-slicks. How much power do you have at the wheels and how many psi r u running,?

    Yes, that was me. I'm still puzzled how your BA sedan can get to 12.9 without an exhaust upgrade, standard air box.

    matsfgxr6turbo There are a lot more things to consider apart from engine size (ie. boost, torque, power output, delivery and peak, car weight ...kw p/tonne etc).In terms of weight difference between us: Massa weighs around 100 kg more, which does not help him... I knew he had no chance

    I approached one company that rectifies mag wheels and they refused to touch my alloys. They said it was illegal to temper with wheels and that there is a big chance the weld will crack? What's your thought and experience with widened rims?

    I did not care about the 60 ft etc. I was there only to beat him (and to catch it on video, as a proof) The video ended up looking childish but I proved my point...

    His run was terrible... The reaction time was 0.5 sec slower than mine. And he started braking before he got to the finish line... Hopefully the next video will be a bit more interesting to watch Raband - he ended up racing few cars that night. I'm not surprised if he lost to a Gemini or camira

    No idea on how many hp it puts out but I've seen it accelerating pretty hard to 100 km/h. He is saying that it feels gutless above 120 -130 km/h

    Retarded driver is a friend of mine. It was his first time at the track. He was very confident that he would easily beat me. Now he learnt his lesson and a bit upset... Whether he can get into 13s or not we will see next time we are at the track. I expected a much closer race and him running mid 13 s. His best that day was 14.3 Now I proved my point to few people I know...

    He has a 4.2 lt V8 Ferrari engine.The best he could squeeze out of it was 14.3 seconds. I expected mid 13's We will be going to calder again... soon... once I get my Et's BTW...The quickest (stock) maserati you can buy today will do 1/4 mile in 12.9
