Nothings happened to it, I'm just sick of the lack of response ever time I come out of a corner on the street and waiting for it to come on boost. Its great above 3500rpm all the way to redline though. Mind you my car is manual and tuned on 98 fuel. "If" I do change to a GTX3576 it will be tuned on E85 so I will loose no top end power (maybe even gain a touch) but the low end and mid range grunt will be massive and make for a much more fun street car all without the need for a surge tank, fuel rails etc.

Does anyone sell these GTX 3576 turbos for under $2000 any more ?? Looking at putting one on my car running E85, manual box. Will be replacing a PTE 6235.
  5. 10 years of that was because I chose to buy an STI over a BA xr6t when looking for a new car. Now I have a FG xr6t
  6. You have your rear height adjuster mounted upside down, it should be on top of the spring, not the bottom.
  7. Happy Birthday stiv6!

  8. You didn't change the A pillar tweeters ?? Whats the bass like compared to the 'premium' speaker ??
  9. I have there leather gear boot, quality and look is 10 times better than the fake leather ford use but because it is real leather it also thicker and the install around the frame can be difficult, but once its on theres no need to remove it again. You will have to remove the gear knob to install it though.
  10. If there aftermarket bars try sanding the paint of bars where the bushes locate on it
  11. Is it possible to rebuild or tighten the factory LSD?? If so where can I get a rebuild kit from??
  12. Whats the driveability like with the toque clamp clutch? I seriously considered the torque clamp clutch but the extra purchase price ultimately turned me off it, plus the fact that you had to mess around taking your ring gear off your flywheel to use on the new one didn't help things
  13. I have an xtreme organic twin plate that I have been using daily for almost a year now in my FG with just under 400kw atw. Fitting was no problem. Drives pretty nice with a slightly heavier pedal but it can be a just a little tricky some times, reversing is probably the trickiest bit as you are always trying to slip the clutch which the twin plate doesn't exactly like as it will bite harder than the standard clutch. Never had it slip even with 2nd gear standing launches but you may get the occasional smell of burnt clutch as it is organic and they don't like abuse, but all organic clutches will do that. Yes you will get noise in 4th and 5th gear if you use 40% or more throttle below 2000rpm....just down change a gear if you need to accelerate any harder. Clutch is silent at idle with it in or out. I do plan on going E85 later this year and am confident this clutch will hold up. The first 2 weeks using this clutch will be an absolute nightmare (was for me anyway!) until the clutch has bedded in and you adapt to it, after that it will feel almost as easy as the standard clutch...until you watch someone else drive your car and start laughing at them!
