sorry guys being a fisrt time user I got carryed awy it wont happen again?????

just a bit of an update for you all,my service center had a good look at it yeasterday and found that the catalylic converter needs replacing so now it is starting to come together in the way of the coils needing to be replaced evey week,anyway it is going back in a monday to get fix so I will let you know what the out come is

there not magor thing but heres the list, left hand swaybar braket(bent right in )ford tryed to blame us for hitting somthing 3 days after we got it, you could tell by the rust it was there for a long time. spark plugs(I was told every 1000,000 km)I get the carbon build up we spoke about last week. ball joints both side(ford told me they had been relaced before 2 days before we got it(my service man replaced them as they were stuffed) top rear control arm(ford also told me that had been replaced) front tail shaft copling (replaced very bad cracks) I no what you are saying is this bloke for real but it just sh*ts me thar ford tells me all this has been checked but it had not so I think I am driving a unsafe car with my kids in it...all this is probably comon things but a 2 year car start me thinking whattha

the car is only 2 years old so I was thinking it is still a baby,but the more I think about the more I think the person that owned it before me did not realy look after it as in the last mouth or so the service center I have been takeing it to has found alot of problems with it, thing that needed to replace I never had to with other cars in the whole time I had them....it is very frustrating the ford did not check all this out when it was traded in and fix the problems before they put it on the lot,this has beed the 2nd time I have got a xr from this ford dealer and both times they have let me down..but what can I say it is an xr6 turbo so you still have to smile

hi there,how oftern does coils need to be replaced, 2 of them in my car have gone in the last 2 weeks?is it a sign that I should just get the rest replaced all at the same time, this has all started from the carbon buildup now I am starting to think this is not the end of our problems with this car.....

hey guys,I was just saying the some to the wife the ather day regarding the nose on bumpy roads,there is a bite of noise coming out of the frount end,when I first picked the car up one of the fog lights came out when we were driving along a bummpy road.it must be living in canberra evey thing happens here not that the roads are to bad?and yes speed bumps are a killer,I am the same as phyber I love my music so I just turn it up and everything goes away :biggthumpup:

when I turn them on to auto at night nothing happerns and the same at day time?they were working fine and then there was nothing

thanks for that,I will book it in but not with ford as evey thing they say comes down to a 'common folt 'that must be the word of the year

ok were will I find the ambient sensor,I have no idea about these things I just love driving them

I there,I was hoping some one could help me out in the way my lighting system,I have a 2006 xr6 and the auto light switch is not working when I turn the car on,is there a fuse that just runs the auto lights or is it all ran on the same one?the lights work as normal but it is just when I turn it on to auto it was working, last week but all of a sudden just stopped,can anyone out there help me
