The lambo driver sounds like a real wa*ker but that doesnt justify what the Swift driver did. I guess these days if you make a disapproving look at someone or go about honking your horn at them you better be ready to back it up.

500Nm in the BA MkII, 550Nm in the BF. Plus I don't believe (correct me if I'm wrong, and be gentle, I think this is my first post) the BA MkII came with the ZF auto gearbox, which from all reports (and my brief drive) is a brilliant box, and would help with a 1/4 mile I think given its smoothness and gearchange speed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Both also came with 550nm of torque... no change there either!

Actually you can still get the premium brakes package for the XR6T/XR8 in BF guise. Forgot what is different about them though!

Yeah I have to admitt the seats are pretty rubbish on a long trip compared to the statesman we had. Also I dont find the seats very supportive when the car is being pushed, the bolsters are too wide!! That said I fit snugly in japanese and european car sports seats so it must just be the fat aussie seats I slide around in. The backseats are the worst where I spend most of my time in the XR8. The headrests are just ultra small and dodgey and instead of support your head push into your back! Statey was much better in this department with adjustable headrests.

He definately wouldn't have been trying!! Maxima's are rubbish in accelerating.

Recently I have seen 2 new BF police XR8's one in winter white, the other in shockwave. The weird thing I noticed about these cars though is that they both had aftermarket stripe kits fitted on them. The winter white with black stripes and the shockwave with silver stripes. I was able to get up close to the shockwave vehicle as it was parked down near the beach and the bonnet buldge decal had some type of eagle head in the stripe kind of looking like a dodgey FPV logo. The thing that really annoys me is that the cops are now in on the tranny phase as the stripes I believe should be left for the GT and GTP. I wonder if it's going to be an easy way to pick unmarked police cars now? Just dont race XR8's with stripe kits! I saw both of these in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, 1 down anzac parade (the winter white that pulled a blueprint xr6 up and was blocking the leftmost lane) and the other down at clovelley beach. Keep an eye out for them!

XR8 way more economical... I get 298K's out of a tank by the trip computer and it drinks 21.9 litres/100km also according to trip computer. It is all city driving and to give u an idea we have to fill approx 2.5 times in a week sumtimes more. We have gotten it down to 14 litres/100km on a very long and sedate country drive but. Go Figure!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL... I think you've misinterpreted the post. I originally said T is way more economical. Then moved on to say the rest about the xr8 being 298kms out of a tank. The post I made straight after the original declares that I was speaking about our XR8. The territory we have is not far behind the 8 in fuel consumption and we drive that alot more sedately. It gets 19 litres/100km.

When you got the funds up... Go for a CF bonnet, and black powder coat 18" - 19" rims! Next lower it and de-stripe it... Will look hot as!

To fit an exhaust like they have to your car sounds very sloppy. I would not be happy at all with that ford dealer! Btw the system looks awesome. Just love the quad pipes!!
