  1. If there was a God....Children would not get cancer. I do not wish to offend those who believe in God ( and why is it we feel a need to apologise in advance...why can we not just say what we believe without fear of someone taking offense.....I am not offended by those who believe in God ) Enough said.
  2. I don't have a problem in the Turbo with brakes rubbing, but my AUII does it constantly.
  3. I read the manual and decided not to take the Turbo. Instead, I stole a Late model camira wagon from a workmate that had gone overseas for 8 weeks and then hired chains as normal....never had to use them though. I might add, when a man hops out of a Late model camira wearing a Ford jacket, it's amazing the comments that get thrown his way
  4. Page 1 Tiger explains what it is: HG is mercury and ag is silver. = Mercury Silver, which is the name of the colour, easy is'nt it? How does HgAg abbreviate to Mercury Silver though? I understand the analogy but I don't understand how it was derived. Paul Peridoc Table : H Hydrogen He Helium Li Lithium Hg Mercury Ag Silver Now do you get it ???????
  5. Try this one next time....if the copper don't laugh, then unlucky. So, why were you in such a hurry....didn't you see my lights flashing behind you for the past 10k's ? Sorry Officer, my wife ran off with a copper last week and I thought you were him trying to bring her back
  6. You're kidding.....a car that looks like a fuitbowl isn't a gay colour ????
  7. 7 Nov 03...in for it's 30,000 next week.
  8. Come on OwnaXR6T...give it a rest. There are speed limits everywhere. Stick to them and you'll be ok. Break them ( and get caught ) ....cop it sweet. Enough already.
  9. In my best Joey voice... Hey.....how YOU doin
  10. It also means you don't accept lifts from strange truck drivers......ay Cro  ( and definitely don't let them open your door )
  11. Hg - Mercury Closest Planet to the Sun....so it's damn hot !!! Ag - Silver The Lone Ranger can vouch for it's speed....we prowl the Highways looking for damsels in distress. Good enough Ken ?
  12. Peter Warren Warwick Farm. I don't know crap about cars so probably wouldn't know what they get up to. However, I leave my car, I get it back, I drive away and so it goes on. I have had my AUII Futura serviced there for the last 3 years and so far have had nothing to complain about. They even replaced my Radiator just after the warranty had expired
  13. NICE....very nice.
  14. ....and if they are stupid enough to let their kids jump around on the backseat without belts....beat the crap out of them.
  15. My "AUII" has certainly needed regular adjustments to the handbrake in the 4 years I have had it. Every time I took it for a 15k service, it needed adjustment. It has now done less approx 10k since the last service and is close to non-existent even with the handbrake fully on ( almost through to the back seat ). Have not had problems with the Turbo's handbrake so far....nearly 30k.
  16. Gotta agree with you guys....just doesn't do it for me... This probably is a nice piece of arse....just not presented at it's best. The G-String should have been worn higher and then the cheeks would not have been flattened like they were. The man be wearin' his pants half way down his arse...women be pullin' them up. And so say Honest Gaza.
  17. ....and unlike Janet, she can't blame Justin Timberlake.
  18. Gees man, next time you walk in, check to see where all the cameras are hidden. I'm sure you're going to be the star of some new TV show like Candid Camera. Maybe there's a huge prize waiting for you.
  19. really... Not that there's anything wrong with that ... Gotta watch them Tasmanians....gives a new meaning to "roll your own"
  20. Currently 28,500 and don't plan on replacing them any time soon
  21. For those of us who don't know diddly squat about dynos ( or am I the only one ? )....what does this tell us and what is the process involved ? Make it simple boys....we lost the Tri-Nations and I am in no mood for heavy reading.
  22. Gees Andrew, I think it's the nature of second hand cars losing their value too easily. Apart from that, "Fruit Bowls" are a bit "in your face" It's a pity you had to sell it but I hope we still see you on future cruises.
  23. Unfortunately, it was like watching a tennis match where the underdog is unable to serve it out in the final game. There won't be many better opportunities than that.
  24. LOL um um um *cough* lol Sorry XR6ISM...I have to go the next step. Here are the Top 5 things that XR6ISM is glad he DIDN'T say : No.5 …..here I am with my left foot on the accelerator while doing up the shoe laces on my right foot…and this imbecile pulls out without a care in the world. No.4 …..it’s very difficult to brake suddenly while sorting through the CD’s in the centre console. Some of these idiots just don’t think before they pull out into traffic. No.3 …..what if my jumper was only half over my head when this idiot pulled out. I may not have had a good enough view of his car once I had got the jumper fully off. No.2 …..what if my elbows slipped off the steering wheel and my hamburger went all over the front windscreen. Imagine the chances of having an accident. and finally...the number one thing that XR6ISM is glad he DIDN'T say : …..who would have paid the medical bills if the girl’s head had got jammed against the steering wheel when I had to brake in a hurry ?
  25. Andrew, Of course you are right that these "Cowboys" are hopefully in the minority. I just wish they would realise that the sticker doesn't say... DO NOT OVERTAKE VEHICLE AT ALL. I will pass on the offer of taking a ride with you as I saw what happened to Cro when he was offered a ride by a truck
