I went with 245, 35 r20 - it fills the guard better , keeps the ride comfort and the speedo difference is minor (110kph speedo = 114.7 kph on GPS)no clearance issues on FG

Hey citricxr6t and other interested parties Got the stripes of ebay - The guy is based in Sydney Caringbah fitted them for an extra $50... He has an ebay store - http://stores.ebay.com.au/FIRST-STRIPES The bonnet ones were from another ebay group in NZ - Auto Sport Decals but I found that First Stripes can make what you want and is genuinely a nice bloke.. First Stripes went out of his way to ensure I recieved these for my birthday from the missus ... And $50 to put them on cant beat it.. Thanks

Hey All I am sure someone out there has removed thier stripes or decals or in the business of doing so.. Now that the Bonnet Decals are peeled off whats best to use to get the remaining glue off.. Window cleaner???? Not so helpful... Afraid to use anything rough or toxic... Any ideas. Thanks

Yeah nice to have her back,, considering Work gave me a Late model camira for my troubles while I waited.. One thing for sure the 8 went better on 7 cylinders and no oil than the commodore.. I wouldn't mind so much if I was giving it a hard time, but this was just daily driving...

What started as a slight ticking noise after 17000kms turned into a knock within 2 days retired my new XR8 (6 months) to the hands of its creator.... Now after 3 weeks I have Just got back my XR8 from Dealer after a new Long Motor fitted Guys at the dealer were excellent but crippled by the paper work that HQ requires to validate the diagnosis. 2 weeks to convince HQ that a new Engine was required when the diagnosis was correct at the time of pulling into the Service Dept. Then waited for Shipping to NSW. Once the Engine had arrived (wed) 2 days later the car was back in my hands to run in all over again... Anyone else had a case of the disappearing oil????

6- 8 weeks to go.......... Just put in my order at work for Shockwave XR8 with Factory Goodies . Most importantly Herrod Cat Back System and SS Induction. Anyone got Dyno outputs on this combo or indications of KW increase - FWKW and RWKW.

Thanks for the update... So Typhoons are on hold???? That makes the decision a bit easier.. Not Waiting months. My AU XR6 is in the panel shop at the moment.. Had a fight with a truck and a pole.. Came close to a write off. Now driving a Suzuki Baleno, I miss my Ford... 3 weeks to get the AU back, then more waiting for a new one... Decision would be easier if they had a Turbo Territory.....

Looking to update the company car and still deciding on either a T, XR8 or a phoon.. Beside the dilema of what one to choose from a preference viewpoint. Has anyone got recent delivery expectations for the 3 models? I am in NSW and obviously ordering through Fleet.. Cheers
