  2. Your on drugs mate. White with black dark agents and tints looks awesome. Fleet car ppfffttt. It's the wheels and the kit combined that give it the overall package. And this is someone that let guess has an orange car. It's probably worse than the gold colour Expensive Daewoo bring out on their vt's. Anyways back to the point 330 - 350 in an auto you'll love it. Theo from Bpr is a good example. He's absolutely flogged his, done over 200 ks with it, and 200 hard ks with and no probz. Snap one up u won't regret it
  3. I was on the hunt for bf f6 for a while and most of em on carsales were sh*t. Either had xr8 bonnets on em or were modified and almost all had hi ks. Until I found one in nsw. White, leather, brembos, dark agents, 36000ks and owned by a 60 year old. Got it for 33 grand. Well worth the 9 hour drive from Melbourne lol
  4. Hi all, got a weird problem. Just bought a bf f6 and When opening my boot, either by key or from inside, there's a loud quick knocking noise that comes from the rear boot lock and it docent unlock. After like 2 or 3 attempts it'll open up normally. Anyone had this problem or have an idea of what it could be????
  5. Hi all having an little issue where I can't access the parts for sale, cars for sale, or in general classifieds sections on the site. When I click on the parts for sale, for example, all that pops ups is, how does slander effect you and whatever else is on that page. Am I doing something wrong? Never had this prob before. Cheers.
  6. Hi all, I recently sold a ba xrt, making a decent amount of power, not without paying the price though. Auto rebuilds ( shonky 4 speed ), new motor you name it. Now being out of one for so long im just itching to get another. This time round I was thinking of buying a ute. I already know to buy models after 06/ 06 because of their bottom end strength etc, but any feedback on the zf auto would be greatly appreciated. Ive heard that once the car is modified, which is what I plan to do, it looses its factory drivebility. What sorts of power can these autos comfortably handle. I plan on this car seeing approx 340 at the rears. Is the auto better than manual???? Ive also read on this forum that a few of the guys are having diff issues. What and why?? Any opinions and experiences would be greatly appreciated, Cheers, Goran
  7. Yeah I guess everybody has had their own experiences. I had a ba xr6 t 4 speed auto, making 283 rears. For the first year I was giving it a pounding, doing second and 3rd gear burnouts all over the place and it held up, for a year. Then I got it rebuilt and " strengthened ", and from the word go it wasnt responding well. Then the motor went and I cracked the sh*ts and got rid of it. Recently I seen my old ride advertised on the ls1 forum, and it stated in the description that hes also had the auto rebuilt. Stay away from the 4 speeds if planning to modify. Personally if I was going to buy another T, id would be a 6 manual.....

  9. No offence but the money you spent on this thing you should have just gone out and bought a xr6t striaght up. Or just spend the 4 k and buy a motor from the wreckers. Just thought it would be common sense

  14. HI all, as the topic states, Ive lost my bloody flah box somewhere. Tipped the house upside down and its no where to be found. Can I just go out and buy another flash box and get it tuned with the new box, or do tuners lock the ecu so it can only be operated by that flash box????
  15. Mate I know youv got a budget n all but its not worth doing a crap job just because its cheap. Ive seen a mate that went down this path and beleive me if he just spend the extra money at the begining, it would have saved him the thousands he spent in repairs.... Its worth saving your pennies and doing the job properly , via a capa flash and custom tune. To make some decent power you'll just need the flash box, injectors, and a set of valve springs. And you'll be wrapped. that's my advice, but each to their own. All the best with whateva you choose to do....

  17. hi all, I actually got a price of $48, 000 brand new, xr6 turbo, luxury pack. Probably coz they only offered me 13 for my ba turbo

  19. Reckon they'll be some tuff cars at the cruise, from what ive heard. Never been, but definately not missing out on this one. Its perfect timing. Cars gonna be ready a couple of days B4 the cruise. 300 + rears yeee ha.....
  20. Hey guys, it was actually no .5 which let go!!!!! Just getting it fixed at the moment, and should be back on the road this week. Senna your the man, lol. Your my new mechanic. And the " F6 bottom end" turned to be a BF Turbo MK II bottom end. Apparently they're the same sh*t, that's what I'm told anyways. Think it was between 2500 to 3000 grand for the bottom end. Didnt get an exact price. If any ones interested in the car let me know coz its up 4 sale now. Good price to. Probably gonna go trade in for a BF or FG if I cant sell it privately. Depending how much of a trade in price I can squeeze out of those pricks at ford. Eventhough the car's mint, they'll still probably offer me something like 14 K for it. Going manual this time round...... Thanks for the help guys
  21. Sori I havnt been on in a while fellas. The diagnosis is a bent rod, which chipped the block, all due to the fuel pump semi sh*tn its self!!!!!!! Theres a guy that's got a brand new F6 bottom end for sale. Just feelin a little tight at the moment, lol. The way I think about it is, even if I have a kick ass motor, the auto is gonna let me down no matter what I do to it. that's what I was told by my tuner anyways. Are the 4 speeds reliable? Its already got a stage 2 auto rebuild>
  22. Hi guys I'm just new to this site, great site might I add. anyways, was cruzn home the other nite, being tailed by some clown in a LS1 SS. So down went the right foot. Felt the car sort of started to serge, so I backed off and got into her again. All I heard was a bang. Pulled up to the side. Still had oil pressure, not blownany smoke. Initial thought was valve spring, seat, etc. So off went the valve cover. Couldnt find anything!!!!!!! Must be in the bottom end. Anyone ever had a prob like this or heard of anything similar????? 03 XRT - 270 rwkw tune valve spring injectors cooler cat stage 2 auto
