Had a drive of one of those that had been chipped. She was a good car but the insurance Ended up with the Subie RS turbo....and exceptional vehicle. Sorry I sold it really. :(

Why twin turbo's? Subaru will tell you it is a nightmare. Why do you think the B4 has be reverted back to the single turbo and renamed the GT. Don't see the point in 2 turbo's when 1 will do. Just my $0.02 worth. :(

I don't understand this. Surely with increased power, increased fuel is needed, even when cruising? Falchoon, It aint necessarily so Grasshopper Even though I know bugger all about the unichip or any other for that matter, it all has to do with the mapping of the air fuel ratio. The standard chip in any car is a compromise and is fixed. This doesn't allow for minor variations in motors which occur. So if the computer is programed exactly to the engine you can eliminate the engine from running too rich and wasting fuel. Hence better economy in cruise mode Did I get it right Peter?
