  1. I would say most car audio places that install Sat Nav stuff including VDO would be able to give you the info. It is just one of there standard units with the interface to match the BA range. :banghead:
  2. VDO has now released a version of their MS 5400 system to integrate with the BA premium sound/screen similar to the Blaupunkt system. One installer said that the system is bullet fast and easier to use than Blau. I think they have already sold their first lot. Think it might be a little cheaper too.
  3. I think you have answered your own question. If you shop arounnd I'm sure you will find a deal you are happy with. Also 03 builds will be on the showroom floor and cut out the waiting time. If you can't find what you want on the floor you will have to order and wait. All dealers want to shift stock and will deal to do so. The only other difference will be at resale time. The build date is taken into consideration, but the difference is marginal at this stage. Oh, that's exactly why I was happy to wait for mine.
  4. Unlikely ... Definately
  5. Probably the drain hose from the A/C has been kicked out of the grommet in the firewall. Bugger!
  6. Turbo6man, didn't you test drive a manual before taking delivery :(
  7. Luv ya work.
  8. What he said but the XR dash does have a Euro flavour about it and looks more upmarket. Just my 2 c worth.
  9. Hi Guys, How did you do that it looks so trick? Are they just stick on and how much to they cost??
  10. You can but you won't have the Ford warranty like the FPV T
  11. Very cool, wonder what the coppers in Vic. would say about that. My guess is
  12. I heard a rumour that the FPV turbo will be on sale around Feb - March next year and will be around 270-280 KW
  13. Never heard that one before but maybe with a free flowing zorst it may reduce sparks. Maybe Peter can give us an idea.
  14. I agree with Ken.....Coz they can
  15. I may be able to help on this one. You should be sitting with the shoulders back against backrest and with your wrists on top of the wheel. This means with your hands on the wheel your arms are relaxed and bent. If you drive a manual, you should have a slight bend in the knee when you have the clutch pushed to the floor. In an auto same slight knee bend with left foot on the firewall. That should automatically put your seatback in right position. Hope this helps.
  16. Flat spots only means one thing dude......brake lock up And Vik351, I believe that Aus. tuned ABS will lock up momentarily so can cause flat spots. This is due to the number dirt roads we have....you can stop quicker with locked wheels on dirt.
  17. Cooltint, Looks can be deceiving. You may think that they would give you low 40's but in reality it could be much less than that. Case in point is the GT only getting low 40's.
  18. Now Now everyone, no fighting over me please. I'm not of that ilk. :banghead: I was just giving my view on the performance upgrade side of things in relation to all the info I have gathered on this and other sites and talking to a few techies. I didn't want to start a slanging match. :o Now lets all kiss and make up. Be cool everyone. :megacool:

  20. Judging by the voting, you can't half tell that we are a bunch of Ford Nuts :-)
  21. You've lost it dude! :(
  22. Good idea about the wipes, they sound like the go.
  23. Its a cleaner/conditioner, comes in a tub and you just rub it on and wipe it off with a soft cloth. Good stuff.
  24. Gareth, I have done heaps of research on this topic and the mod that stands up to all scuitiny (?) is the APS stuff. When my car arrives, that will be where I will be headed.
  25. They don't even have Subaru listed. WTF
