Aussie Car Enhancements have developed a kit for the SOHC V8. From memory their car had around 168kwrk stock and now has about 240rwkw. The entire kit is around $4400.

I recon my girlfriends little 5 speed Fiesta is quicker 0-40km/h then my Fairmont. The gears are pretty tall in the 4 speed auto with the 3.23 diff, plus considering the car is 1700kg it does not help! The NA XR6 feels a lot punchier of the line with the 3.45 diff, but still nothing to great. If your made had a 5 speed XT it would have been a different story.

I'll take a pic of my car tomorrow to show you how low it is after having the springs in for 14 months now.

Steve the PBRs look great Keep bleeding them mate, that’s all I can say. Same thing happened to me when I changed all 4 rotors to slotted and put new pads on my old EL and then went to bleed the entire brake system. After bleeding it enough for clean fluid to start coming out the other end I thought I was done but I was wrong. I ended up bleeding 500ml of break fluid through each corned just make sure there was no air and in the end there was! After that the breaks had so much bite that I locked them a few times until I got used to the new rotors and soft pads! I will never forget the moment I put them on and took the car for a drive. I was told to bed them in by doing about 5 60-0kmh easy stops and then let them cool then do it from 100-0kmh and hit them hard. Being a smarta$$ I wound her up to 120 and hit the breaks hard and yes they pulled up great but I though my car cough fire. The front rotors being vented were all covered in oil (on the inside). The brakes must have got that hot, the oil started to burn. So you could image the look on my face and other onlookers as my car was doing 100kmh with a cloud of smoke from the 2 front wheels. PS Don't do what I did haha

Hey mate, car looks great! If I was you I would drive it for a good 1000-1500kms before you do anything else to the springs. When I had my SL/SSL spring put in I thought that the back was a tad high to but after about a month of driving the car dropped another good 5mm. Also you might find that your car is sitting on its bump stops at the rear. Mine was and after I cut 1/3 of the bump stops its been all good! Do a search for my past threads and there is a good one about the rear bump stops and the use of Kings SSL springs! :glare:

Exactly my point! How some people can say that the XT interior is $hit in comparison to their XR is beyond me because it is the same interior. All the plastics are identical, made from the same grade plastic etc etc etc. I do agree that the XR seats do look nicer then the base model seats but that is the only major difference. My reply was directed at the comment made below! How can that be true when both the base model XT and a base XR have an identical dash appart from the steering wheel and guages?? I am not trying to argue with anyone, I just dont understand how one car can be better then another when he is referring to parts in one that are identical to those in the other car!?!?! Also in regards to the comment about why more people like Holden? Its all about the badge, they could stick a Expensive Daewoo badge on anything and it will sell. Have a look at the new P.O.S. Barina, Expensive Daewoo have sold more of them in 2 months then Deawoo did in a year.

..............I was nowhere near 40 degrees last night. By the time the runs were done it would have been well below 30 degrees but it was a humid day.

I read this so many times about how the XT interior looks "so" plastic in comparison to an XR or Fairmont or Fairmont Ghia. Blah Blah Blah........ All the interior plastics in the XT, XR's and Farimont's is the same! The only difference between the models is the seats and trim. Apart from the additional features in the higher specs cars like Fairmont and XR with luxury pack the rest is all the same. So I do not understand how someone can say that an XT interior is so much worse then their XR?? If you have a base XR6 or XR6T, your car is based on a XT Falcon anyway! Like I said before other then the trim, leather seats, leather wheel and the premium ICC if you have it all the other bits are identical.

From what I have seen so far I think its a great little Pocket Rocket! With the price of fuel these days the new Focus is a great proposition I think.

I am surprised that after handing over 995 hard earned dollars that the tunner did not spare 10min to upload a tunes for you and show you what the go is!?!?!?! Hence the faulty product would have been identified on the spot.

For the price you have payed for the BF XR6 you could have bought a MkII BA Turbo easy! It would have been a much better and cheaper option. You can spend $1000's on the NA and it still won't be as fast as a stock Turbo. Good luck with it!

Yes the "SRS AIRBAG" tag on the side of the front seats means you got side air bags!

The front of the Territory bonnet is different to the sedan, so the bonnet will not just bult onto a sedan or ute! Also has anyone seen the under bonnet of the Turbo Territory?? The intercolled looks bigger then the one fitter to the sedan and also the pipes from turbo to intercoller and back to TB are very very short! Can only be a good thing!
