I am pretty sure the Edit works on the Turbo Focus too! Imagine if the edit could get it up to about 200 FWKW, that you be pretty insane in a front wheel drive car! HEHE

I may be wrong but the forst thing to go on turbo engines is normally the turbo itself?? I know a few people with turbo cars (WRX, Evo, etc) who have replaced their factory turbo after about 100000kms.

I have been to the Cockburn karts and they are great fun! The track is also very very fun and its a proper kart track! hiddeous the extra kgs dont help mate. I am 115kg and I had no chance of keeping up with the bloke who won and he was around 95kg. The good thing about more weight is that you have more traction due to the extra down force, so you can come into corners with no break. Only problem is picking up speed up the hill on the back straight!

Might also be worth looking at the S/C kits out for the BA 6cly. CAPA have a kit for 6k that makes 230rwkw on the standard NA engine!

Same thing happened to me and Ford said the same thing. The car is out of warrenty now and it has gone into limp mode a couple of times in the last 4 months. If it becomes a big problem I'll get the sensor replaced.

Accuracy Of Trip Computer Readouts

My trip computer is not 100% accurate on consumption nor the DTE. For example my average consumption per 100km is about 0.5l more then what it is when I work it out manually. Also the DTE is not very accurate at all because the tank in a sedan is 68l and I have had the DTE down to 20km and I could only fill 60l max and that is will fuel spiling over the floor! -

I seen one of them on the freeway Steve! That stripe you are refering to is just a sticker and from memory it was like a mustard type yellow and it looked really $hit!! IMO the yellow just does not look good on the VZ sedan.

Mate if I was you I would just drive the NA around for two more years and save your money. Once you are off your P's then look at getting a XR6T! Sounds like you got a good deals with your current car so in two years time you wont have lost too much money on it. Also spending 3 something grand on the NA, you will be running high 14s. Spend 3 grand on the turbo and you will be running high 12s. Keep your money!

That is just outrageous!! Do you have a real bad driving history or something?? Could it be because where you live?? When I bought my car (BA Fairmont) and got quotes for insurance, the annual premium for a BA XR6 (NA) was about $200 more. I am turning 23, have full NCB and the Fairmont is insured for $28800 and the annual premium with RAC in WA is around $580.

Mate give Wilkenson Suspension Centre a call! I got my Kings SL and SSL suplied and fitted with a wheel alignment for $400. My shocks are still fine and the springs have been in for 30000kms and shocks have done a total of 70000kms! They need the car for about 2 hours, so next time you are in Perth it might be worth considering.
