Pretty sure the F6X would have the Jeep well covered in a speed contest. Jeep performance is pretty good though, the diesel is a torque monster. Discovery 4 or the new RR Sport are impressive, I do like them a lot, but well beyond what I can afford.
Thanks guys. Loving it so far, its a bloody tank on the road. Being a pretty tall and big bloke I could never get 100% comfortable in the FG. That steering column was just too low. This thing is another story all together. tab, I know parts for these are expensive but that does not bother me as its insured and warranty will cover any faults. The mirrors in particular are close to a 1000 each. But getting parts state side is a lot lot cheaper than local. I found this while hunting for some accessories. Jeep AU has a bad rep for aftersales and parts availability from what I am told.
Samsumg have an app to transfer all your contacts, messages, pictures etc from iPhone to a Galaxy device. It pulls it all from an iTunes backup of your I device. Used it recently as wife switched from iPhone5 to Galaxy S5 and it worked great.
The interior CGI that Ford released is from a Territory and not the Falcon. The Territory has have the round air vents and center console storage with slid door cover since SZ update in 2012. Sh!t me that Falcon enthusiast/lovers can't tell the difference between the two considering both have been out for years. The interiors of both the updated Territory and Falcon are physically identical to the current SZ and FG Mk2 models. The only obvious differences are seat trim, some interior trim colour changes and the ICC has a complete new SYNC2 interface. Other minor differences are the dash fascia on some models has some minor changes and some of the physical buttons on the ICC are relocated. This is the new XR8 interior.....
If you are referring to the F6 310kw donk, there is more to it then just the tune. The FGX XR6T has the same output as FG. All of the specifications for the updated model are on the Ford website.
that's an early photoshop/artists impression of what the updated Falcon may look like. To be fair it actually looks better than the artist impression you posted. But in my opinion its still an awkward looking thing no matter what angle you look at it from.
I doubt the FGX will crack 1000 sales a month. Ford won't push it like Expensive Daewoo are pushing/advertising the VF. Whats that saying about pushing something up a hill? They have sacked over half the people on the assembly line so there is only so many Falcons and Territorys they can build. Also there is word that the German built ZFs are on short supply so there is only so many auto XR8s and XR6Ts they can build.
Having seen the the car in person I recon if you advertised your it would be snapped up pretty quick. I sold my FG within 4 days of advertising it for the asking price, the first person to look at it said I want it before the garage door came to a rest after I opened it.
The problem with them is that they have more push-rods than killawasps. I thought the only was to drive a Late model camira is to smash the redline each time you take off from a set of lights and drive in a Woolies and Coles car park?
Don't waste your money on flogged out shocks and springs. If you want to do it right the first time, save until you can get a Shockworks set of coilovers or similar.
