I was just browsing over a the tempe site as you do and saw they got the Zenetti Koatic's on sale. 19's for 1999 and 20's for 2099 with rubber, add 100 for wide pack. OMG the 20inch wide pack are 20x8.5 and 20x10 From memory these normally got for like 3000.

Hey mate, Are you looking at buying a turbo or NA?? If you are looking at getting just a normal XR6 or XT then I put money on it that it will use less fuel then you VS, especially if you go the ZF 6 speed auto. My early BA Fairmont 4 speed auto according to the trip computer is anywhere between 7-8l/100km with the cruise on at speed between 100-110km/h. My overall average is 10.4l/100km on trip computer and this has not been reset for about the last 30000kms since I did a battery change. Have you driven a BF 6 speed auto yet? If I was in your shoes I would look at an XR6 oe the special edition ES they have now that has a lot of fruit for XT price. Good luck

Hi, We been thinking about getting a pup for a few weeks now and yesterday we went and had a look at a couple. It was a Staffy x Bull Terrier male witha dark coat. I like Staffies but I am not sure about the Bully, the mum was a Staffy and the pups head is shaped more like a staffy rather then a bully. Any thoughts guys? We want a smaller do for outside. Anyone in WA know anyone that has or will have any pups for sale soonish? Cheers

Cheers for all the info. I love the utes but never considered them because for some reason I always thought that they were so much worse then the sedan, due to the etra weight. Anyhow since moving into my new house I have been borrowing the old mans ute every weekend and I can not see it would be a lot more practical to have my own ute. Plus might as well kill two birds with one stone and buy a Turbo ute and have some fun with it too. Currently the Fairmont spends all weekdays in the garage collecting dust while we take the soon to be replace Fiesta to work. Soemone mentioned getting a better cat to reduce bottom end strain. What is a decent cat that will bolt on to the stock turbo exhaust and how much?? Now to find a Blood Orange auto ute with leather

What sort of injectors would I need that will be happy around the 260rwkw range? Do F6 injectors flow more then the XR6T injectors? Would a trans oil cooler be enough to keep the auto happy? I do no drive my cars hard. No burnouts etc. I just want something that is reliable and have a bit of go. I am not sure what you guys do to destroy so many transmissions but I highly doubt that my driving style would kill them so fast.

What about the suspension? Do Kings do a full kit for the utes? I am not very familiar with leaf springs so am not sure what is involved to get them lowered. The BA utes look like a truck at the back. Also would going low in the rear affect traction and drivability with around 260-270rwkw? Is it possible to get Traction Control fitted to utes? Cheers

Hey, Take one 03 BA XR6T auto ute with a healthy engine as a start, stock with no hard cover. What would it take to get one of these to run high 12's?? I know that the utes weigh a bit more then the sedan and I assume they will need more power to run the same times etc. For those of you with auto utes, what power is good to run a high 12? What about the leaf spring rear? Will lowering and stiffening be a bad thing in terms of handling and traction? What is the payload on the XR utes standard and what would it be with a set of reset rear leafs such as the Kings set? Cheers

that's reasonable for all four assets ......18 more months and I'll be trading up to either an F6 or 300C LSXR6T sorry to hijack your tread a bit there but I guess being young and driving turbo anything, you may as well bend over before you even ask them for a price. Good luck

Couple of years ago I called all the the usual insurance companies here in WA (RAC, WQBE, SGIO, banks etc). Only RAC were going to insure me. At the time I was 21 and had a perfect record since getting my license. The quote I got was around $2100/year, but at the time the XR6T I was looking at was $35000. .....hence I bought a Fairmont instead. But there is always light at the end of tunnel, 11 months till I turn 25

Hello and welcome! Like others have said get a flash tuner with custom tune and you will have yourself a very quick T. Don't think that the 4 speed auto is a bad thing becuase you will find that your car will be quicker then down the 1/4 then a manual with same power. The only advice I can give to you is to treat your car with respect and know what the limits are.
