TY XR6T, where are you located? I got a Herrod S/S cat back on my ute at the moment, sounds very nice. I bought it like that so can not tell you what difference it made, if any. But I can tell you that on a cold night it hits about 9psi, which is a mild case of boost spike.

What is the profile of the tyre? Have you got any pictures to see how they look? I was going to go 265's in the back and stick with 245's on the front.

seeman, are you sure he used 1" blocks? That looks like more then a 1" drop to me. From my understanding all that these blocks do is move the diff up buy adding the block spacer between the spring and the diff. I do not see how this would put extra strain on the springs. I'll give them a try and if the are I'll pull em back out

Spotted a black BF ute on the FWY this morning with plates "WHIPL4SH". 20x10's in the back, very tough looking stance.

Looking through the Nolathane catalog I noticed they have a 1" lowering block kit for BA/BF utes and wagons. I was under the impression that you could not use lowering blocks does to shock absorber clearance etc. Surely they would not make the kit if it could not be used? Anyone used one of these? Cheers.

The 5x7's run of the factory head unit, so it would be a direct replacement. Just get some decent quality 5x7 and replace the speakers as a start. Depends on what you want and how much you want to spend? Cheapest option would be to replace speakers with better quality ones of the same size.

Yes defiantly upgrade. Beats me why FPV don't make the colour screens standard across the board

Colour code should be on the build plate and Just go to Ford spare parts and they will have touch-up paint for about $10. Just don't expect them to match too well unless your car is white or black.

For new I think you will be looking at a minimum of $600+ Contact the forum sponsors, even if they are from over east it would be like $15 to post them as there is not much to em.

Another thing about Exetel is that their initial contract are only 6 months, unlike 24 months for others. So at least you are not locked in for 2 years. But like I said they are best value for money, I have recommended over a dozen people and they are all happy too. You will be hard pressed to find another ISP offering ADSL2 for $60/month with similar quotas and short contract periods.

I am sure the intercooler can be made to fit, but the piping on the BA/BF is completely different to the FG. Spoke to HDI and this cooler kit is about 3 to 4 weeks away. Special introductory price of $1299 (for pre-orders) and RRP of $1499. Core size is 400x450x80, straight bolt in kit with no cutting etc.

Check Exetel. I have been with the for years, ADSL and ADSL2, and never had issues.

Wow that looks like a nice bit of kit. Much better then the BA/BF kit, however that intercooler should fir a BA/BF too. Did they say home much the kit is? Those dyno graphs are showing 24+ PSI for the 508rwhp run??

The factory cast dump is 3" so no point wasting money on getting an aftermarket 3". If you are going to replace the dump then go for either a 3.5" split or straight 4". If you only want high 200's get a high flow metal cat (4.5" or 5" body) and that's all you will need.

White FG F6 looks nice. tinyplums, is that 11.89 with a tune only?

This may be a stupid question but here goes. When accelerating is it normal for the car to build boost to say 10psi (with a tune) and then drop off as the revs rise while holding the accelerator in the same spot? For example driving at 60km/h and pressing the accelerator about 2/3 down the cars kick down to 2nd gear (I assume) and hits abut 3500-4000rpm, at this stage the boost gauge says 10psi. If I hold the accelerator in the same spot the car accelerates and revs go up but according to gauge the boost pressure is dropping. Is this normal or is it a sign of a stuffed solenoid or wastegate actuator? Its a 4 speed auto by the way and has done this since I got the car. I would have thought that it would hold boost or is this only the case under WOT? Cheers.

Ex police 08 car with 88000kms I think this thing would be about the same as buying a privately owned car with about 200000kms on it.

What causes the genuine coils to fail so quick? It this a result of tuning the cars and hence more stress on the coils? I am going to replace mine and was going to go with a genuine set before tuning.

How does it feel "loose"? Have you checked all the bushes in the rear?

There is only one way to put these badges on. When I bought my ute is did not have any badged on it and I put them all back on and all badges have the semi clear face tape on them. My car is white so it was easy to measure and mark with a pencil then peel the backing tape and line the bottom of the badge with a base line a marked and stick it to the car. Rub the badge with a cloth applying even pressure si it stick to the car. Then peel the face tape off and you are done. If someone sold you a Turbo badge with individual letters I'd send it back to em.

The letters should be stuck on to face tape so you do not need to separate the letters.
