  1. Thanks for the info hiddeous. Yea I am going to get a barbed tee to suit the fuel pressure sensor and the fuel hose. I will check the auto store for some EFI hose clamps.
  2. Mike, you do know that Mister MINIT can program a new Ford key as well when they cut it? They somehow copy the codes from your existing key to the new one. Also if you have two keys, you can program a 3rd without the need to take car to dealer.
  3. Thanks Mike. So they must have revised them quiet late as yours is a BF. I'll take some pictures when I do mine this weekend and post them up.
  4. kevo, I am replacing the entire fitting that screws into the block. Turbo is not making any noises on mine with 100000kms so I'll just replace the filter and fitting. When I spoke to spare parts they told me that the oil feed filter/fitting was revised and not runs a bigger filter element inside the fitting. I am sure the ETM style setup is better in the long run but I can not justify the cost vs replacing the OEM filter. Cheers
  5. Hi, Does anyone know that size the rubber fuel hose is on a BA/BF XR6T that is used between the fuel filter and fuel rail? I need to get a tee fitting for my fuel pressure regulator and would like to know that size of the hose. Also would using a barb tee with clamps be ok? Cheers
  6. I just ordered a new OEM filter and some cooper washers. When I replace the filter is it worth pulling the feed line off and flushing it?
  7. Mike, I just called Mister MINIT in Riverton and its $160 to supply, cut and code and spare BA/BF key. 15% discount for RAC members so that works out to $136. Check my previous post, there is a Mister MINIT up your way.
  8. I have been told that these guys can copy BA keys. Mister MINIT | Shoe Repairs, Key Cutting, Engraving & Watch Repairs Over here in WA when I called them I was told about $90 to supply, cut and code a key. I have not got around to getting mine done but will try when I am close to one of their stores. Their website had a lot more info last time I checked
  9. You can not fill the entire lower section due to the location of the chassis rails and reo bar. I think a 600 core is as wide as you can go with decent end tanks without the need to hack up the front of your car.
  10. At least the iPhone serves a need that people require on a daily basis, you can use to make calls amongst a 1000 other things. The iPad on the other hand is just that, a pad, that is not a phone nor a netbook.
  11. ...........sounds a bit like a Boss powered Falcon Despite what any of you say or think, this is one of the best looking sedans built by Ford in the US and the V6 will eventually replace our IL6.
  12. It can still be done. I'll put up some info once I finish (start) mine.
  13. This was only a problem with BAs with 4 speed auto. The car in his picture is a BA Typhoon and they only came out as a manual.
  14. They are much better when car is tuned, but still a big call to make. ...must be an LPG thing, all the other LPG Falcon drivers love the 4 speed as well
  15. What is the ideal offset for 20x10 rim for BA/BF utes?
  16. blow off, other then the fuel system to come are you changing any other hardware? I see you still have the OEM plenum.
  17. Is there a Kumho or Federal 245/30/r20 tyre to suit the 20x8 rim?
  18. I think there would me more then enough interest for a forum group buy for these?
  19. Dish should be interesting, hopefully they don't ruin a nice clean look. Karl, do you know if they are doing any other designs in 20x9.5 and will it only be the argents or will they do silver as well? Cheers.
  20. According to that a BA XR6T Auto ute will munch any other model with equivalent power ...........would be nice if that were true
  21. I got contact details for two of the bigger sellers of FPV copy wheels from eBay and both have told me the same thing. I stopped asking about 8 weeks ago
  22. There has been talk about there for a about 6 months now. Somehow I doubt we will see them anytime soon
  23. Turbo oil feed filter replacement. Full gearbox oil flush and service if it is an auto (also fit an external cooler). It really depends on what has been done to it in the past?
