  1. I think we all agree that redneck has ripped some poor b@star off. But there are plenty more doing the same, I have seen a handful of these boxes sell on ebay in the last 8 weeks for various amounts. I doubt anything good will come out of this, so not point flogging a dead horse.
  2. Looking at those pictures this is the new BA/BF HDI kit?? This kit uses a bigger cooler and slightly revised pipe work.
  3. I though the would be and I agree they look awesome. ......might be an idea for the back of my ute
  4. Hey mate, Are those genuine FPV wheels and are you running spacers? If they are not genuine are they pre-AU offset? Reason I ask is because they sit out a lot further then any other 19x8 FPV wheel and look a lot better!
  5. Water line copper washers for banjo fittings: "W 700762 S300" Oil feed copper washers for banjo fittings: "E 832149 S300" Oil drain gaskets: "BA 9Y478 A" and "BA 9Y478 B", top and bottom are different and I do not know which is which.
  6. Oil feed are cooper gaskets and oil drain are metal gaskets. I got the part numbers at home and can post later on tonight. For info about the feed line and gaskets, have a look at the Oil Feed sticky thread in the Turbo section.
  7. Grug, you should be able to get $400-500 easy as they are a lot better then something like a Monza or F6 cooler. Check out the Wanted classifieds as someone was looking for one.

    Pbr C4 Calipers

C6 PBR calipers are the BA premium breaks that came with 325mm rotors. To fit these premium breaks you need either BA Mk1 17 inch wheels or 18 inch wheels. I am not sure about C4 calipers, but if they are anything like the C6 you will need one of the wheels I mentioned above or an FPV wheel.
  9. F****d On Race Day! Even before the race started it was lost as two-thirds of the starting grid were all Holdens. Well done to team Vodafone.
  10. The heat-shield on my car is looking rather sad and I wanted to tidy it up a bit. I am not wanting to polish it but would not mind giving it a good clean and coat of paint. Has anyone painted the factory exhaust heat shield, if you have what paint did you use? I would guess I can used any high temp paint, similar to what is used to paint engine blocks and calipers etc? Cheers.
  11. The drive train and engine on the GS is identical to the GT. The only difference between the two is in the tune. GS is 315kw/545Nm and GT is 335kw/570Nm. So potentially the GS should see bigger gains with a tune only. Both engines are limited to 6000rpm, while the NA 5.0 makes peak power around 7000rpm. Will be interesting to see what tune only gains area achieved. Also the GS only gets XR6T spec brakes.
  12. djkice, "w" means they are speed rated to 270km/h. I would imagine they would be ok on a Falcon that is factory limited to 230km/h. See here Load & Speed Ratings - Tips & Info - Bob Jane T-Marts
  13. There is a big difference between how the ute and sedan drive. In your case unless you really want/need a ute the sedan you be much better to live with.
  14. I personally like Ego the best. I am sure if you are not in a harry one will pop up that ticks all the boxes.
  15. Yea I saw it on Monday. True about the kms but for its age 15k/yr is well below average.
  16. It is on carsales.com.au Do a search for Make: FPV, Model: F6 Typhoon, State: WA and you should get a result of 15 in total. Here is a pic of the one I was referring to...
  17. There is one for sale privately for 32k. Blue Bf2 Typhoon with Zf and about 60000kms.
  18. Wow love the look of those wheels. Might have to make some phone calls :spoon:
  19. xcopbf, what wheels? I thought the existing Argent copies are 20x8"?
  20. Will the 20x8.5" fit in the front of a BA/BF?

    Android Apps

Couple of months ago I switched from iPhone to an Android phone and started a bit of a trend at work, few of the guys who had the iPhone 4 on order canceled their order after having a play with my phone. I was never bit on apps with the iPhone but have a few that I use on a regular basis. Here is what I have found good since switching to Android: eBay ADW.Launcher Movies (Samsung app store) RunKeeper Titanium Backup Beautiful Widgets Urbanspoon Speed Test BBC News Backgrounds Silence Scheduler Aussie Weather Radar Home Switcher One Click Lag Fix
