  1. Just saw it on the news. Looked like a BF Typhoon with dark argents. It was either Bionic or that other blue that is close to Bionic.
  2. I can vouch for the Bosch 968's. IH8TOADS knows his injectors
  3. I have been putting Shell V Power in the runabout for the past 4 weeks. First two fills were not by choice because Shell replace 3/4 of the 95RON pumps with V Power pumps so got "conned" into paying an extra 5c per litre Needless to say the extra is worth is because we are getting an extra 80-100kms per tank compared to Shell 95RON
  4. Took me 2 days to do the soak-wells at my old place. Had it done by these guys at new place and they took 4 hours to install 14 soak-wells, plus they were cheap too, only worked out to about 35 bucks per soak-well more than what it would have cost me to buy all the bits and pieces and dig them myself.
  5. E3 Maloo .....cant be any worse than a Ford ute
  6. Fuel filter is $10. good idea to change them every second service so do it regardless. If your cat section is stock BA (you mentioned exhaust mods), find yourself a BF factory cat and bolt that in. You will need the whole cat section from cast dump to the cat-back flange. You should be able to pick up a good used one for $50-$100.
  7. Crashed, that looks 1000 times better now with the argents Is it just the photo or is that sticker on the rear quarter window real crooked?
  8. It looks those tyres are not bi-directional, just make sure you fit them one the correct way would ......don't want to be doing any unnecessary tree lopping in this weather
  9. I had my XR6T insured with AAMI and our other cars are insured with AAMI too. Made a claim with them where I was at fault and did not have any issues and premium did not change either. Had the XR6T insured for 22k and it was about $650/year from memory. Address or garaged location has a lot to do with premium as well.
  10. LazyBrennan, what part of Baldivis? Arron you are just around the corner from me ........I am guessing you are in Settlers Town Side? That has gone from nothing to 100 houses at roof height within the last 6 weeks.
  11. Those wheels actually look really good with the silver car
  12. If you are buying new disks and pads because your current ones are shot than they are much for muchness. If you are buying because you want to upgrade the brakes to get better stopping power, than look for a set of PBR performance brakes that are 325mm x 32mm disk and C6 calliper. They would be miles ahead of standard BF brakes.
  13. I think Ford AU should just give up if the cannot get their sh!t together and improve on build quality and start offering some of the technology on other global Ford products. Euro built Ford vs AU built is like chalk and cheese.
  14. Good to hear Aaron. The car looks mint even on the tilt tray Once its sorted I am sure it will be worth it
  15. Folks I have decided to sell the ute so if you know anyone after a very good cheap XR6T ute let them know. I will have it up on carsales over the weekend
  16. Last time I checked it was a few more killawasps than a Nizpro F6. ..........sorry I had to
  17. 8Gb of RAM is a waste in a desktop of that spec. If it was me I'd leave it at 4Gb and spend the money on a dedicated video card. Anything in the $60-80 range would be 10x better that the onboard card.

    Here She Is

SKOIE, nice ride mate. Looks great now 245/35R19 - Radius: 326.89 mm vs 245/40R18 - Radius: 326.39 mm The overall tyre height is nearly identical so if your 18s have the OEM tyre size your car would sit 0.5mm lower than SKOIE's GS with the same springs. Why do you think it would be a grader?
  19. Steve, here is an idea for you .............can we incoporate a stop at the below location in one of the upcoming cruises?
  20. Steve, I just use a bit of rope and it works a treat
  21. Krazy, to be honest if I was you I'd stick with the iPhone considering what you have just said and it sounds like you are happy with the iPhone. The iPhone 4 is a lot better than the 3GS so you will be very happy with it. Not sure about HTC, but the Samsung software is rubbish. For music and media, I can mount my phone like a USB drive and just copy things onto it or copy things over wifi directly to the phone via one of the many file explorer apps on the Android market.
  22. If you want something that will just works out of the box and gives you zero ability to be creative and tinker around with than get the iPhone. If you like to mess around, under the hood so to speak, get an Android phone. The Galaxy S2 is one of the best you can get atm in terms or hardware. There are many custom roms for Android phones but I guess this is not everyones cup of tea.
