Ahh so going to whole hog, might as well chuck a GTX on there at the same time and be done with it I recall seeing a thread here not long ago about the Rapid kit and how much cutting and butchering is involved to get it to fit etc and FG, might be something to consider unless you already have the kit.

What are you getting done as part of round 1?

Is an actuator and flapper mod required for the standard GT3576r? I am guessing with a 12psi actuator the tuner will be able to hold 15psi flat all the way through the rev range? I have seen some holding 15-16psi in the mid and then they drop off up to, while others only manage 12-13psi in the mid. Aaron are you going to run the baby turbo or going bigger?

Yea cruise would be good Steve, will have to make an effort for the next one. Ahh yes it was east your car was facing. Give Grant at PER4MANZ turbochargers a call. He rebuilt my BA turbo and ported housing with bigger flapper. I too removed the turbo and dropped it off.

Not good to hear but considering the low volume of FPV sales it is not a surprising decision. I am predicting that we will not see any mechanical changes for the 2014 Falcon update. My guess is we will get an XR6T with an F6 spec 310kw IL6 and an equivalent spec car with the 335 5.0 V8. I just hope that don't carry over the current MkII LE wheels and just paint them another shade of grey :|

I would be up for a "kart" event in the future. Maybe incorporate it with a small cruise. The karts at Cockburn are ok and good fun under lights if there are 10+ people.

Use the $4500 towards a deposit for something with a ZF. Throwing that money at a BTR is a waste I recon. By old BA with a BTR held up well with a tune and did not give me any issues. Before I got it tuned I fitted an external oil cooler and did a full service with a full flush using good quality oil. the rest of it will be getting the auto tune done rights and also how much you abuse it.

A decent replacement 8" sub and better speakers would be a lot better then the paper oem speakers. I am looking at getting one of those little 8" Kenwood subs and replacing the door speakers with something a bit better. Adding some sound deadening to doors and parcel shelf would also help.

FG has auto light settings in the ICC menu, but sensitivity adjustment must very minor.

Yes correct Steve, the dash comes on when it feels like it based on the light sensor. I don't understand what they were thinking, absolute cr@p IMO.. Talking about B series cars. I have also come to the conclusion that the seats in my BA were miles ahead of the front seats in the FG. The BA seats were a lot more supportive and felt a lot more solid. As you can tell I am still not over it hahahahaha

Is it just me or is the Auto lights feature on the FG absolutely shi!t? I have set them to come on as soon as possible and go off as late as possible. Driving in the rain outside its very overcast, dark and pissing down and the lights do not come on at all when in auto. The auto function does work as they do come on but it has to be pretty dark outside. Another stupid part of the FG lights is how the outside lights and dash lights are independent of each other. If I manually turn my lights on the dash lights don't come on. Does it sound like I have a faulty light sensor or are other FG owners blessed with the same as what I have described? .........rant over

A poly pipe 5mm repair plug with a small zip tie will also work.

I don't think I do Luke but I could be wrong or I am just used to the power now. The FG feels great from 2000-4000rpm and up to the legal limit. Anything over that it does not feel as strong. I am also comparing my stock FG to the BA that was tuned. I think its just the power delivery of the two is different and the ZF vs the old BTR 4 speed. I will take the car to XFT for an independent check before tune to baseline it and to give me a chance to get any warranty sorted before I void it :-\ Plan was to tune it with current turbo with all the supporting gear without going overboard haha

Tempting, as the 440cc injectors will max out the current FG turbo. Not sure if I could be stuffed with the turbo but I must admit I do miss the mid range power of the BA/BF turbo. Where are you located?

Is the turbo off the same car (oem FG F6)?

That is very cheap for the F6 cooler and OEM 440cc injectors. Age and kms? Also any more info on the turbo?
