  1. ^^^ Sweet looking wheels and awesome brakes arron! Front look to poke more. If you had 35mm nuts at the front they would sit about the same as your 35mm rears? Below are 35mm nuts front and rear on my filthy staggered Interlagos. Front Rear
  2. The ute is just a GS with a GT bumper and F6 skirts plus some different colour trim. Looks like they just put some gloss over the top of the standard grey ICC and center console trims. Do like!
  3. Those jacks look pimp. How many kidneys do I have to sell to buy one?
  4. Good man Mick! I'll get my set of you this weekend They look good.
  5. GT stripes on anything other than a GT is equivalent to a VN with VS HSV body kit.
  6. The BF light have nicer looking deflector design and look fresher/more modern both off and on. Minor difference, but looks a lot nicer imo. BA left, BF right. BA BF
  7. The BF 18s do look good, I had a set on my old BA ute that also had a BF front bumper on it Here is a set of BF tail lights: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/rockingham/auto-body-parts/ford-bf-genuine-tail-lights/1048143915 First mod done.
  8. So when do the mods start? A set of BF tail lights would freshen the look and compliment the BF front bumper.
  9. Ahh flashback!! B series represent, wish I never sold my ute haha. Nothing beats a pub lunch! I had to bail after lunch that day and and probably missed the best part of the actual map, but still was a good drive.
  10. Will look sh*t hot with the pink mirror tint. That was a good cruise map the day Mike chipped the Lotus. Have you guys re-run it since?
  11. Pharkin phone auto correct. Yea mate the pipe coming out of the turbo just to the left of the intake muffle delete is the hot side pipe. Take that off and it will give you more room to adjust and fit the muffle delete. Just make sure you refit the hot side properly.
  12. To fit the muffle delete up properly I also recommend taking the hot side pipe to dive you more room to adjust and fir properly.
  13. Removed the factory exhaust restrictor ring from my FG. Surprised at the difference it has made. Don't recommend doing it on the garage floor though.
  14. 2011 white FG Mk1 here and no rust issue here that I have spotted. Would be interested in some pics.
  15. There are a lot of cars on the used car market that have "never" been modified. Not saying that the car you are looking at has never been modified, but its very easy to return them to stock. Looking at the pictures above the car has an aftermarket turbo oil feed (dodgy install based on line routing) and is missing the back part of the exhaust manifold heat shield. Makes you question the history if its a low km unmodified motor? That hectic open pod is a yellow sticker job so look at replacing it with eiher an OEM air box or aftermarket enclosed intake. Does the overflow have any coolant in it or is it just full of water? It looks terrible. $10k is cheap..........................
  16. Congratulations on the new car 02STOCK. Very rare beast you got coming that's for sure. That above picture is the GT Black prototype that never made it into production. It had a different front bumper and staggered wheels.
  17. Why is that? It's a good indication of regular scheduled servicing cost for those people who take their cars to Ford for servicing. Perhaps in the long run parts for the 6cly would be cheaper and maybe easier to get, but from my experiance with non Australian made Fords its never been an issue as they never needed anything above and beyond regular scheduled servicing and regular wear and tear parts such as brakes and tyres. I have no doubt that scheduled servicing can be done cheaper elsewhere.
  18. Ecoboost does not need any fancy oil, its a DOHC engine just like the 6cly but a lot more efficient. Check Ford Capped Priced Servicing for cost. http://www.ford.com.au/ownership/myfordowners/cappedprice

    Fgt Mk2 Questions

that's because only the Mk1's have the cop chip.
  20. Performace wise there is nothing between them, but both have their advantages and disadvantages. Check the FG section on AFF, pleanty of happy EcoBoost owners there. IMO EcoBoost will have better fuel economy regardless of how good or frugal the 6 may be on the hwy, will drive better and feel lighter due to less weight over front wheels and is a lot quiter all round. Overall the ecoboost will be much cheaper to run, service, register etc and still offer the same performance. People will argue that there is no replacement for displacement and that that 6cly is better etc etc, but at the end of the day 90% of people on this forum have chosen a smaller capacity forced induction engine over a V8 so go figure. Few of performance comparison videos to put in into perspective.
  21. Arron, what were the gains on P100 over 98? Or did you go E85?
