I kind of like it - the traction/stability control lets you have a bit of fun but still keeps things in line. Mine nearly got away from me the first time I put the boot in because I wasn't ready for it but I'm getting used it to it.

Thanks Hypnodoc - there's a white R spec in my area that was the final factor in my choice of colour. The first time I saw it I decided to order the FG in white. Thanks F6BF - He certainly did. I went on one of their cruises to Mudgee a couple of years ago with a mate and I've been promising to buy one off him ever since.

Thanks guys. It was a choice between white or black and I think the contrast with the white works well. Hi Tigwelder - I'll keep an eye out.

Just picked it up this afternoon and absolutely cannot stop grinning I ordered it back in May and haven't driven one until today so the wait was nearly unbearable but definitely worth it. I love the new look, the power is awesome, it handles fantastic and the interior is a huge improvement. Stepping up from a BA XR6T into this car is an unbelievable experience and one I'm going to be enjoying for a long time to come.

Mine's due to leave FPV this week - pick up from the dealer next week. Not sure exactly what day yet.

Mine did the some thing a few months back when driving to work. Gear indicator flashing, stuck in 4th gear and the speedo stopped working. As soon as I turned it off and restarted everything seemed to working OK, so I didn't think it was heat related. Dropped it into the service centre but they said they couldn't find anything. The only good news is that was at 13,000kms and now at 23,000 I haven't had the problem again (fingers crossed).

The way this was explained to me is that when a speed limit sign is posted ie 80km/h then the road must have corner advisory limits posted on every corner where the recommended speed is less than 80km/h. this means that you get the yellow signs saying 45km/h etc. When the black circle with the line through it sign is posted the open road limit (100km/h) applies but the corners are not necessarily signposted so you should drive to limit of the conditions. I don't know if this correct and I'd love it if someone could confirm or deny this.
