    Life will never be the same. Mrs gave birth to a little girl today. Not so little though. 4.2kg + 16 hours of labour starting at 1am FMD What an experience . Both mum and bub doing very well. RHR

    I had to replace the cores as they split/started to leak. It was more noticeable after the first one was replaced. PS: use fast reply

    they sure dont. Had one core replaced under warranty then the other I had the pleasure of removing the dash and doing my self :censored:

    It will depend on what you are planing on doing with the car. A few guys on the forum have bought F6 short motors which is basicly just the block with no sump or head.

    My ba mkII used to make a watery sound on start up sometimes. I put it down to the heater core

    Sounds normal. They can be a little noisy when cold. To rule it out take the car for a run. Pull the intake off the turbo then switch the car off. There should be bugger all sound from the turbo. From the pics it does not appear to be rubbing on the housing The oily residue is also normal
