  8. Hello all After recently reading about different polishes and waxes available I decided to give the meguires Deep Crystal system a go. Took me round 2hrs today to apply the carbauba wax but it was well worth it. I did not realise how good it would come up. The paint looks so deep now and the metallic flake (Shockwave) is much more prominent. I don’t want to take the thing out cause it looks so nice. So if anyones a little unsure about the polish and wax thing go for the Meguiars. Its great stuff. Id post pics but I gotta get batteries for the camera, not the nicest day today either
  9. Damn stones Ahh had good fun anyway
  10. Hello all After reading a post about a lucky fellow who just bought a T I was feeling a little inspired so I thought id take my T for a run through the National park Sutherland, you know just for a nice cruse. Any way I drove past a Bmw Coupe' of some sort that was pulled over on the side of the road and didn’t think anything more of it. As I started getting into the twisty bits on the way to Bundeena I noticed some of those Zenon headlights in my rear view mirror and this rather large chrome BMW grill. So as you can imagine driving through the twisty bits I decided to give her a bit of a squirt and what do you know this thing is right up my clacker. Was held up for a while with traffic and managed to get clear for a while. Anyway getting towards the Stanwell park side of the national park and was driving through some more tight stuff and sure enough the beema is still there. So I thought righto lets see how quick this thing is. Drove out of some low speed corners and held it flat to the floor up shifting around 5,5. My T slowly pulled away but not by much. I continued to drive like this for some time and I was slowly pulling away. Not too sure what kinda BMW was so I had a look at the web site. The only coupe' that I could find with similar power torque and weight was a BMW 645CI. The headlights and basic shape are very similar to the car that was behind me. The car that was behind me was definitely a BMW coupe' sorta like a deep maroon colour. I really believe that this guy was having a go cause I could see him on a number of occasions cutting corners to maintain speed. he would sorta reel me in going into corners and I was able to pull away heading out. So what do you guys reckon. Do you think this was the car on my clacker. By the way this was with out a doubt the best drive I have ever had in my T. Oh so good... I cant help but smile every time I drive Just for every ones info. all laws were abided by whilst I was driving although I don’t know bout the other guy

  12. Sweet Thanks for that. looks good
  13. Dont mind the colour Dont reckon the guy who did this is the sharpest tool in the shed... Little silly
  14. Colin T Im interested in the tow bar that you fitted to your T Is it true when you do not have the goose neck fitted and the cap is back on you cant see the tow rack at all. I hate the look of tow bars but like you I only tow every so often. Do you have a brand and part number. Any picks of it at all Thanks Rob
  15. GEoMaNTiK That one worked fine Thanks
  16. Not happening for me either
  17. Yeah I have a MkII 6 speed with the same problem. It comes in between 95k/ph and 110k/ph. When I took it to Domineli ford (Kirrawee) they said "Tyre noise evident". BULL SH1T. This was at 15K now at 30K it has'nt gotten worse. Another non requested no cost option
  18. Bout time Now only if they had one in shockwave...
  19. No this is not a typo. Went to Shell Kirrawee to fill up. Pulled up next to bowser for Optimax 100 $1.24.9 on display. Started filling and dispaly changed to 103.9c Per litre. Was spewing though cause my car was half full. Got 34L for around $35.80. Did this around 10.15am today Be quick!!
  20. Yeah I didnt know what caused it till you blokes bought it up. realy sh*tes me to tears. Another no cost option me thinks Rob

    Cruises

Yeah Im really keen for one. I went and checked out the new bridge down Coal Cliff way today. Bloody nice. Could do a national park one? Rob
  23. PPL First things first. South Coast Ford Batemans Bay. Great blokes good customer service and they didn't stuff me around like DOMINELI KIRRAWEE. Took The T in for some warranty work to fix the steering creek. FIXED YAY!!! I also wanted them to have a look at the rear bumper cause when the T is left in the sun the rear bumper swells up and buldges towards the number plate.."What the" is what the guys said. Has any one else had this problem Also had the problem of a dull clunk in the left front end. Car has only done 27K and it turns out that it has a nakered left upper ball joint. Bad joint or bad build? Rob
  24. Yeah I have the same problem but only when the air conditioning is on
