    Seat Issues

Hello all I have a little issue with my front cloth driver seat where the fabric is becomming kinda furry. I know people have mentioned shaving this away and I have done a search. My questions are: What did you use to fix it? Did anyone approach ford and have any luck getting it fixed by them? (not holding breath) Has anyone had troble with the plexis part of the seat fabric. It would appear that on mine it is starting to pill? I tried taking a few pics but you cant really see what im talking about. Im a little concerned with shaving the fabric and im thinking the more you do it the thiner the fabric will become Thanks in advance Rob Ps: my "new" diff is on the way out it would seem and only after around 5000k

    Typhoon Flash

Not sure it would work properly on a BA as it only has Dual Variable Cam timing(DVCT) and I dont believe that it has any components to make it Dual Independant variable cam timing(DIVCT) I know the Phoon when it came out in Ba MKII form had DIVCT I reckon you would have better luck doing it to a BF as it is standard with DIVCT Rob
  8. Yeah they do get slipery I have them standard on my MKII and even though they also have rubber you need to care. Rob
  9. Hello all Im in the market for tyres and Im leaning towards Kumho Ecsta Ku31's. My question is does anyone have these fitted to their car's and if so what are they like. I was also recomended BF Goodrich G-Force Sport. I'm only after a good wearing tyre and didnt want to break the budget. Thanks Rob

    Hand Brake Adjustment

    Sweet Thanks fellas
  11. Hello all It would appear that when I got the car serviced they have not adjusted the hand brake correctly. It looks like they have done one side more than the other cause when I put it on one side either rises or falls more than the other. Question is. How do you adjust them. Is the same as in the Au?? thanks Rob
  12. Nice that one's perfect for desk top back ground
  13. Yeah you read right Put a post on some time ago bout a particular ford service department that stuffed me around. I decided to take the T for some work (brake shudder, seaping diff, diff wine, sub crackle, rear bumper buldge, rough idle and a dodgy lhs door seal) at the same place. Well I was very supprised when I picked it up. Originaly the first time I wanted them to look at the diff was because of a diff whine. They originally put it down to tyre noise...Hmm yeah right. Well the service guy told me today that the diff is knackered and they had orded a replacement. So as you can imagine I was rather happy to hear this. In regard to the bumper buldge when I dropped off they told me that they would pull it off and glue it back down. Again when I picked they told me that they were talking to ford bout getting a new bumper . My only concern here is them matching up the colour. All the other stuff was fixed. Must say after the re-flash its now a lot smoother through the entire rev range. Ohh yeah the premo sound is a lot better with out the crackle.... So from now on I will be taking it back to Domineli Kirrawee Rob

    Nasho Run

Hello all Recently I posted a topic bout a bit of fun I had with a beema through the Nasho park and in response to that a number of people were interested in a cruise. So due to lack of further posts on that topic I have decided to start a new one. Yeah I know this might be in the wrong section but I am unable to post in the cruise section. The plan is, taking into account suggestions in the other topic I thought we would do a night run say around 8.30pm or so. We could all meet up at Sylvania Maccas around 8pm and go from there (nice easy central location). I reckon due to the not so good roads at the start of the nasho we could "take it easy" untill we get towards the stanwell park side. I must say the road gets a lot better past Lady Wakehurst Dr (road to waterfall) and from the drive I went on today it appears that they have cleaned the shoulders on the side road. As some one else suggested we could continue through Wollongong to kiama and then come back via Jamberoo Mtn Rd then down Macquarie Pass I reckon we all aim for either Sauurday the 28th Jan or Sunday the 29th. Im good for either one but it all depends on numbers. So its now in your hands. People who are interested please add a post to this topic and please nominate your prefered date. If any one has any further suggestions wack them in your post as well. Rob Revheadrobbo
