80>ks s when you on the gas you get the noise. You back off no noise. If it is coming form the rear of the car it sounds like diff whine. Does it get louder the faster you go?? Rob

Meguires three step is what I use I like to polish the car around ever 3months but this will vary if there has been a heap of wet weather.

Bionic Xr6 As a few other members mentioned I would do a change around every 7,500ks as I also believe the 15k mark ford set is way two far. I wouldnt worry to much bout doing it now but its up to you. Feel free to bring her around at thr 7,500k mark and ill give you a hand to drop the oil. Rob

Probably the main reason why I asked this is that the dealer that I took it to is with in 2kms of a nice 100k zone. So thinking that they would only drive that part of road is why I asked the question. Car is now sweet once again and Im happy Rob

Hello all Just after a few peoples opinon on a few things. I had my car in today for warranty work and requested they check the tail shaft for a vibration and a diff whine as well as brake shudder (3rd time in for brakes). Reading about stories from member saying that ford thrash cars I decided to reset my trip meter, average litres per 100 and timed driving time. Trip meter came back with around 30ks they had driven the car for an HOUR!!! and my litres per 100 had gone up by a fair bit. Do you guys think this is reasonable thanks

Yeah ive been conducting my own little test over the past few months and I must say that I get the best performance using Vortex 98. Power feels like it comes on harder and I also get bugger all sooty residue on the back bumper of the car. For some reason though I seem to ger better economy out of 95 ron. Dont ask me why.

Make sure it comes with a spare wheel, lock nut to suit and the Jack.

Make sure they replace the spare with a new MKII mag. Dont take anything less. In my opinion its the least that they could do. They stuffed up and word of mouth (around here anyway) spreads pretty fast

Is it like a clicking noise. I find with my t that when I leave the drive way I get a bit of a clicking type noise that comes from the rear of the car

Has anyone tried the basic DBA slotted rotors.

PPL I have a very annoying problem with my T in that when I first start her of a morning the belt squeaks like buggary. Its not slipping and only tends to do it in the colder months. I heard on old tale that you put a little Sunlight soap on its ment to shut it up... DOES NOT WORK. I have even tried a little WD40 with no luck . When I wack some WD40 on it it stops but the next day when I start her again im back at the beginning. Thanks in advance
