Yeah I Suppose it looks alright But do you reckon they have gone a bit over board with the gards. Front looks falcon rear looks 380 X falcon and side honda.. Interesting combination
  5. Yeah nothing to worry bout re revs. When I start my car first thing it get up round 1500 rpm. Just let it idle for a bit and the revs will drop below 1k.
  6. Sounds like a common fault in the steering rack.. Its a warranty fix where they put shims between the steering rack and cross member
  7. Yeah I was actually looking at that when I made the post.. You dont get much of an option when you buy a second hand car. Still one of the best colours and even looks better with really dark tinted windows..MMM NICE!!! So in replying .. Yes.. I wish my car was HgAg

    BA Handbrake

WELL ITS ABOUT FRIGGEN TIME!!!!!! but the sad(good I think) thing is there is nothing really wrong with my car at the moment (other than tail shaft vibration that they cant fix) to warrant going back.. Just on another note how good is the forum since the little updates.. GREAT WORK!!!!!
  12. Drcook My car is manual and I notice if dont warm it up the shift qulity is not so good. Cold morning it just takes a little longer to warm up. If you put your liters per 100 on instant when you first start your car you will notice it will be around 5.1 l to 100 and by the time im ready to go its around 3.0l to 100 instant... Hope this makes sence.

    Dash Glare

    polarized sunglasses work a treat
  14. Different 17" mags. Back lit power window switches different colours and 6 speed manual
  15. IM not sure bout most of you guys but I like to let the warm up a bit before I do anything. Normally ill start it and wait for about 2 to 5 mins before I get going. I understand that the manual states that you dont have to but I reckon that little time needed allows everything to get fully lubricated (other than diff). I dont open it up untill its well over 1/4 temp.. My old man once had an EA station wagon. Again you didnt have to warm it up but he did and managed to get 330000 out of the car before he sold it.. It was also the original auto too
  16. My turn Diff whine.. Diff replaced gear knob replaced Sub X2 replaced Steering creak Diff whine.. Not replaced "NORMAL" Tail shaft vibration.. Sorta fixed Tail shaft vibration.. Not fixed but putting up with it untill whine gets worse Brake shudder X2 machined fixed for now. Idler pully squeek.. Sorta fixed by but now bearing noise Bumper bar buldge (near number plate) fixed But still love to drive the T
  17. Its not a real hard job to do yourself required the rotors are ok.. I think from memory to get the caliper of all you need is a 15ml and a 17ml spanner a "G" clamp to push the pistons back in fit the new pads and put the calipers back on.. Get you hands on a repair manual and have a go.. If you get stuck im sure there are plenty of fellow members in your area who would be more than happy to give you a hand. Rob
  18. Who can photo chop that Expensive Daewoo out of the pics???

    Paint Protection

Go out and get you self some decent polish/wax... A slab of beer or sixpack (depends on how much you like a drink) Go home give your T a wash(in the shade of course) and crack one open.. Once this is done polish away and again crack a few open When your done take a few steps back from the car crack open another beer. Take a look at the car and go FARK that looks sweet. I think all of the above (not including labour) would be a cheaper option and the result is soooo much better. Disclaimer: The more beer consumed can affect the outcome
