  1. Love your work Sly. Warilla.... Goooooone!! Rob
  2. Criuse Idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! User friendly for Sydney siders!!!!!!!!!!!! My idea???? Well I was thinking about a Wollongong maquarie pass kangaroo valley Geringong criuse.. My plan. All to meet at Wollongong in Stuart park in the morning say 9am to 10am from there get onto the Princes highway and take the right off the highway to drive up mount Kiera Rd. Really nice bit of road and a fantastic look out up top. There is also a Cafe up top so we can stop and have a bit of a chat.. From here continue to travel south on the road (cant find my gong street directory) that runs towards unanderra nice and twisty and aslo a good view. This road ends on the Princes Hwy (using Chickos takeaway as a point of reference). Now there are three options from here.. We can continue to head south along the highway or the freeway or we can drive out past the steel works and follow the road down to warilla then onto New lakes entrance road. Ok now we follow this road into albion park and then get onto illawarra highway (if that is infact the name of the road to maquarie pass) Now maquarie pass is beaut and I think it will be the highlight of the cruise. From the pass its up to robertson.. Pie shop I hear you say???? stop for a bit get a bit of water into you and a bit of water out of you and have lunch.. Now if we are all happy we head off with kangaroo valley in our sights. So we can either stop in the valley or keep on going to nowra (Seventytwo might know a good place to stop round here) So once through nowra and the like we drive out towards Gerroa and Gerringong (good pie shop in Gerringong) From here we start to head back to Wollongong and back to stuart park where we can all say out good byes. Good idea????? sorry bout the lack of road names. As you can see I clearly have got nothing. Slymeat might be able to assist. I realise that there is a bit happening with a Bathurst and Snowy mountain cruise so it might be better to have this one in the new year some time and hopefully Goobz (chris) will have a car by then This (when reading it) sounds like a long cruise so its not gonna be user friendly in the kiddies. Now for Cro's approval and if he likes can he please wack it in the cruise section under its own thread. My work here is done Rob

  6. Just picked me up a full BA falcon airbox with a K&N filter for 70 smackers The plan is to put a second cold air intake in it and if it has to go in for warranty pull it out Not bad hey??
  7. I suppose im guilty of creating new posts when something goes wrong with my car. It is not a case that I am un happy with my dealer. The reason why I do this because I believe it can help other t owners who are having similar problems to me resolve their issues.. I will also continue to do this. When I mention that things were broken on my car when getting warranty work I would hope that this makes fellow owners think about going over their cars when work has been done. I was rather annoyed when driving up Bulli pass (wollongong nsw) when I discovered that the mechanic did not do up the hose clamps on the throtle body and also snapped the mounts on the cross over pipe causing my car to suck in unfiltered air into the motor. If you were going onto your fourth Diff would you be happy?? Dont get me wrong every time I get in my car it feels like its the first time I have driven it and this is why I bought the car. I hope I dont anger anyone by posting this but I just though id share my reasons with you all Rob
  8. At last we have pics. Looks real nice mate
  9. Fark im glad mines getting replaced under warranty.. Do you guys think that having three diff changes has contributed to it going.. Rob
  10. I have to admit that I also think that after 5000rpm my car doesnt feel like its pulling as well as it does prior.. As for the manual VS Auto.. I really enjoy my manual when driving through the twisties. What does annoy about the manual is stop start traffic. I have also driven the auto six speed and its feels great.
  11. I had one of the blokes come into work from Ecowash.com.. He reckoned that they use a foam that "lifts" and draws the dirt off the paint work.. dont think so Its good to have a mate in the spray painting business.. No restrictioins for them and I get to give my car a good wash every weekend..

  15. Hello ppl Well I had the T in yet again for some issues such as.. brake shudder. Heatshield rattle... powersteering shudder.. Noisy diff whine...and I also got them to check out my drivers seat for exessive ware.. So all of the above was fixed and I had to slap myself when ford aggreed to REPLACE the fabric on the drivers seat. . YAY... Diff number 4 is also on the way.. Now the bloke also pulled the throttle body apart to give it a bit of a clean and whist either removing or replacing the cross over piping broke the three rubber mounts off and did not replace them .. They also did not do up the two hose clamps on the throttle body... I discovered this when headding up bulli pass and hearing a loud hissing noise.. Is it always the case when getting work done you get the car back with something new wrong with the car.. How hard is it to go back over the car and check that everything is ok... NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!!!!!!!! So yeah just though id inform the masses with the ongoing issues with my car.. Rob

    Joke Of The Day

A Japanese company and an American company decided to have a canoe race on the Missouri River. Both teams practiced long and hard to reach their peak performance before the race. On the big day, the Japanese team won by a mile. The Americans, very discouraged and depressed, decided to investigate the reason for the crushing defeat. A management team made up of senior management was formed to investigate and recommend appropriate action. Their conclusion was the Japanese team had 8 people rowing and 1 person steering, while the American team had 8 people steering and 1 person rowing. So the American management team hired a consulting company and paid them a large amount of money for a second opinion. They advised that too many people were steering the boat, while not enough people were rowing. To prevent another loss to the Japanese, the American rowing team's management structure was totally reorganized to 4 Steering Supervisors, 3 Area Steering Superintendents and 1 Assistant Superintendent Steering Manager. They also implemented a new performance system that would give the 1 person rowing the boat greater incentive to work harder. It was called the "Rowing Team Quality First Program," with meetings, dinners and free pens for the rower. There was discussion of getting new paddles, canoes and other equipment, extra vacation days for practices and bonuses. The next year the Japanese won by two miles. Humiliated, the American management laid off the rower for poor performance, halted development of a new canoe, sold the paddles, and canceled all capital investments for new equipment. The money saved was distributed to the Senior Executives as bonuses and the next year's racing team was outsourced to India.
