I wouldn't bother. The oil goes through the main oil filter just before it reaches the oil sender/feed line

Could be carbon deposits from the motor. Might not have been flogged by the previous owner and due to this the deposits build up. Generally a new owner will wanna see how it goes. So getting up it may be getting rid of the deposits and give you the white powdery smoke Have you ever been behind a car when you see like a grey white powdery puff comes out the exhaust, when they're accelerating hard. This is the carbon deposits being blown off Just keep an eye on your fluid levels. Should be fine

Give the throttle body a clean with carby cleaner. Common thing

Yep pretty much. Obviously the plastic cover needs to come off the rocker cover then the coils will be revealed. The wiring loom just unclips from each coil

Except for tab They are not a bad thing by any means. You do have to get up em to get them going. Driven a manual Xr8 ute and it went quite well. The problem is when your getting into it, BANG there's the rev limiter

make your self a coffee and have a read of this Oil thread As far as diff oil there is a variety of recommended types. Im sure others will be able to offer their opinions
