Yes its true and as the title suggests robbo is going to the chapel along with SWMBO to get married So I was wondering if any one would be able to help me out with a White T or F6 for the Brides car and possiby a merc silver T or F6 as the brides maides car. Personally I wouldnt bother with the extra litre. I didnt and ive had no dramas at all. Mine gets changed around every 40 thou or so. Its great oil and you will notice a big difference Rob

Youll need 4.85 litres and you will need to fill it through the speed sensor on the drivers side and not the filler plug on the passenger side of the car The Xr8 on the other hand only uses 3.85. So I guess your wondering why the T with the same box needs an extra litre They have put an extra litre due to grear box rumble. Ford found by adding a litre more it made the box a lot quieter I believe mal wood (a site sponsor) say its ok to run 4 litres By the way I got the specks straight from work shop manual CD

That sounds like the quick way If you want to get rid of it all together ..... Go to bunnings and get 2 1 inch leg rubbers for a chair. Loosen the clamp on the inlet side of the turbo. Loosen all four clamps at the cross over pipe. Remove the two nuts behind the cross over pipe (10mm) remove the BOV vacum pipe and then your cross over should come off. Now you will need a big arse pair of pliars to remove the BOV piping off the cross over pipe. ( turn the cross over pipe up side down so the "turbo intercooled is on the ground) Fit leg rubbers over the holes from that the BOV pipe once used. Re used the clamps and fit them back over the leg rubbers and do the first paragraph in reverse
