Yep Its cruise time and as I was in Lithgo last week and owe so close to Bathurst I had to organise one. I'm basically using a cruise Cro Organised in 2006 (Christmas cruise) So the date is now the 18th May This cruise will not happen if there are less than 10 starters (cars) So this is the start to far. Meeting Point. BP Servo/ McDonalds which is on the south bound side around 8.30am on Sunday morning It is located on the corner of Old Windsor Rd and Celebration Drive Glenwood We will leave around 9am and head North West on Old Windsor Rd and follow to Windsor. When we reach Windsor we will turn left onto Macquarie Street and head towards Richmond We turn right onto Richmond Rd drive past the RAAF Base and follow for a while Now Richmond road turns into Windsor St Once on Windsor street we will turn left onto Market Street and then a quick right onto March st (Kurrajong Road) Now we are on Kurrajong Rd and it now turns into the Beautiful Bells line of road We follow this road all the way to Bell and turn right onto Chifley Rd. Follow Chifley road to Lithgo. Once in Lithgow Chifley Rd turns into Mort Street. We turn right onto Lithgo St then a quick left onto Main St. Once at Lithgow we will stop for 30mins for a Maccas Break. We now will all leave the Maccas car park and turn right onto The Great Western Highway. We will follow this road all the way to Bathurst. Now the Great Western HWY turns into Durham St and will left onto Panorama Ave and head towards that Magical Mountain Mt Panorama. Some call it Heaven Now be warned the track has a 60kph speed limit and boys in blue are also quite fond of the track. To add more it is not one way traffic so be very careful. Lunch at Panthers Bistro.... Yum yum After lunch and a few bevos we will head to the track for a final good bye Now we have the option here of heading back exactly the way we came or… We can go via Oberon. Think we'll decide on the day Fuel You will definately need at least a full tank of fuel for the day, so please be filled up ready to go in the morning. UHF CB & Mobile Phones A CB Radio is recommended for this cruise. That way everyone can stay in contact, the leader can relay information about cars, road hazzards etc.. Cheap CB's which will allow you to hear updates from the leader are available from any electronics store (I.e. Dick Smith) for under $50 each. Decent CB's which will enable you to communicate at least 2km's in either direction are available for around $160. So who's In 1. Me 2. RAP1D 3. TURBO4LT 4. DBOSS 5. Buf-Phoon 6. 4runner 7.
